Credit Card Merchant Processing SPAM recieved 5:57PM Sunday Evening - "This call is to remind you of recent changes concerning the merchant account if you are receiving this automated message you may be out of compliance with one or more of the following reasons the EMV liability shift placed upon you the merchant the PCI validation questionnaire and or a recent rate and fee increase notification. Please call us at 800 545-4315 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.. To 5 p.m.. And Saturday from 8 a.m.. To 1 p.m.. Central standard time so we can assist you not responding to the changes could result in avoidable non compliance fees again our number is 800-545-4315. Thank you."

SPAM cold callers selling merchant processing - garbage

Jeeeez!  They called me at 10 PM local time. I wish I had their  personal number so I could call them at like 2 AM

It is 949 at night.  Dead robo call from my rotated work line.  Will block it

The message on our machine is the same as that typed out above by "Anon" on Aug 7, 2016. Glad to read it in its entirety, as I could only make out some of what they said.
Funny - Calling on a SUNDAY night, 5:30, but they are not open that day!

I received that same message 8/11 8:08p

Same message left at 6:15 PM.  The fact that there is no identifying info (company name, whom to talk to, etc.) made me suspicious. Glad I checked here.

Called at 9:42PM and left no message. Glad to hear 800Notes reporting WTF these pests are doing.

Left VM saying my merchant account maybe out of compliance.  I don't have one.

left vm and called back. Said they were going to adjust the rates for us so that it wouldn't increase when the switch was made to the cc's with chips. Also said they would send out new cc readers for us no charge. Requested that we fax over our statements from our provider so they could make the adjustments. Called our provider and they never heard anything about this. Rates didn't change that much and we would get the reader from them. Whole thing screams scam.

They called and hung up when I answered.
