Received a letter from the company associated with this number threatening legal action about an unresolved tax debt, threatening  to levy social security benefits. When I called, person admitted they have no legal authority to garnish benefits and asked if I wanted tax help. This company needs to be shut down. They are preying on folks. Have filed complaint with Better.  Business Bureau. They are not associated with IRS. Report any contact with them to authorities.

I guess you don't want them shut down too badly if you filed a complaint with the useless, worthless BBB that has absolutely no law enforcement powers at all.  I guess that was easier than filing complaints with the FTC, the IRS, your State Attorney General, and possibly even the Postal Inspectors, all of which have law enforcement powers.

Received a very legal looking letter that says “Tax Processing Unit. ********* County Public Judgement Record”. Says we owe $????! & it’s a warrant judgement & lien letter. I almost had a heart attack. Good thing I had a better sense to check the number before I called them. They’re a scam.

Threatening, Fake Tax Lien letters in the mail. Their verbiage is enough to scare the average citizen.

Received a brutal $24K from Tax investigation-2B District of Columbia County (District/County ?!?) Public Lien Records for Federal Tax avoidance. No detail, no year, just the astronomical bill and 7 days to pay it... LOOKS LIKE A SERIOUS SCAM.
