unsolicited call

This is ADT Service and it was an emergency call to me about a friend who has this service.  The friend was transported by EMS to a hospital,  The number came up as a "private number."  ADT was alerted to this!

Called claiming to be ADT stating I was on my neighbor's call list and his home security alarm was activated.  My neighbor doesn't have ADT security.

I too thought this was an unsolicited call, but fortunately they left a message.  My mom had fallen and activated her button.  I now added the number to my phone list so they are identified...

Then why did you come to a phone number look-up site? You apparently already know who called you.

You are hilarious!  Know why?  Well you looked up a number after you knew who called and why.  There certainly wasn't anything new you could find out about it.
Now, let me tell you what I know.  I actually have ADT.  When they call, the caller ID specifically says ADT.  Oopsy!  Bet you didn't know that did you?  Now here is the other thing.  They specifically say that this is ADT calling and state the reason why.  Oopsy again!  Bet you didn't know that either.  So at that point there is absolutely not one single thing you could learn by looking the number up on the internet.  Not one.  Now a normal person would not take waste their time doing that.  So are you an abnormal person?  Did you expect to learn something new?  Please enlighten us.  I doubt you will.

I didn't recognize this number.  The person who left the message sounded drunk.  After listening to the message a few time I figured out it was ADT running a "monthly test for medical unit".  My friend has ADT and put me as the emergency contact.  In 2 years, this is the first call I've gotten from ADT.  I wanted to look up the number before I called them back,

Said my unit was too hot and registering 105 degrees. To move it away from a vent. It is 72 degrees in house.

That may be what the house temperature is but the air coming out of the vents will be hotter depending on what type of heating system you have.  Hot air can be up to 140 coming out of the furnace and Heat Pumps would put air out around 98 to 120 depending on how new they are and if they have backup heat running.

Seriously?  The hospital didn't call you to pick him up but your alarm company called to tell you that he was discharged?  You really expect anyone to believe that?  By the way, your post has been reported since lying is against the TOS of this site.

It was a recording…..no clue who from until I read this thread.  They said they needed to verify a shipping address for something we didn’t order.  I’m not about to contact these people….
