Called the number (800-572-1332), this IS the "remove your name from our list" phone number.  It is a recording, they ask you to leave your name and phone numbers you want removed from their list. I left mine, hoping the calls stop...

That phone number 1-800-572-1332 doesn't work any more.

called 800-572-1332.  Message says to leave name and number to be removed from call list.  There was no beep at end of message to indicate that it actually recorded my information...we shall see.

I'm getting several calls per day on my cell phone but they hang up after 2 or 3 rings.  I've left 3 messages to take me off the call list when I call the number back.  Doesn't seem to be working.  Starting to get very upset.

Call 1-800-572-0906 to have number removed within 24 hours.  When I called them a recording stated that the reason for the call was that someone was eligible to receive a free publication???

Constantly called our office peddling different magazines. I started answering this number with "We no longer accept calls from this number" and hung up. The calls have been fewer, but have not stopped.

It is from a magazine "re-subscription" service.  To renew your "free" service.

This number was to renew subscription to Financial Planning magazine. Seems to be legit to me.

I get the same calls. These call cost them almoust nothing but the persons time. If you want nothing and hang up they win. The key is to keep them on the phone as long as possible, then the cost goes up. Every few seconds is another call they could have made. If I have nothing to do I keep them on the phone as long as I can. I agree to everything and get details of everything until it's time to pay. Then I put them on hold to go get the payment. After a few of these unproductive 5-10 minute calls it will either become too unproductive to continue or they will get pissed with the people playing their own game and quit the job. If we all do it they will loose big money. Please repost this everywhere you can.

How stupid can you be? You left your personal information with a phone number given to you from someone who posted the instructions on the Internet? I'll bet you also get emails from Nigeria and you actually send them money too.
This is a typical PHISHING ploy. Educate Yourself!
CLUE: Go to a government website [dot GOV] and get information from the FCC for the do not call list.
I can guarantee you WILL get more calls and next time... THEY WILL KNOW WHO YOU ARE.
