FYI,  for those that follow:  
 1)   Don't even pick up the call ----- you are not obligated to talk to anyone on unknown phone numbers .    Surely you don't open unknown e-mail addresses, do you?
2)  if it's important enough your unknown caller should leave a message      
3)  if you happen to answer the call and the caller is a telemarketer, or is rude or pushy just say "hang on a minute" ( don't even wait for a polite opening ),  put the phone down, and later, hang up when you hear the dial tone.      

TIME is the most valuable asset to telemarketers so the longer you keep them on line the more likely you will be removed from the contact list.   DON'T TALK TO THEM !!!   It works for me !!

They call my phone number all the time. These people are not rude but, if you tell them to take you off their list they will not do it. You can legally sue them for harassment if they keep on calling you after you tell them to stop. By law this is considered harassment. You can also go the long way by doing a cease and desist letter which is very legal for you to do and cheap. This is the best way to get them off your back. I have done this with many call centers who will not stop calling. It has been peaceful until these people started calling about vacations. I can barely make a full paycheck to go on vacation so they are phishing for information. Do not give out any of your personal information as stated above or don't even talk to them as you are provoking them to keep calling you.

Called at 8:30 pm!!! Who does business then? Blocked!
