I did not receive a call from this number but I got a charge from it on my mastercard. It seems like it is the same as the CFM scam. The number goes to the same voicemail recording. The charge was made 7/31 Harry Dean 8005725389 FL 8.99

I also got the CFM charge of 9.75 back in may. Both have been disputed but I am thinking of cancelling my card, would be bad on my credit since it's the card I've had the longest. =o/

I think some merchant that I have done business with comprimised my account. Off to research.

Same with me. Just called Bank of America to file a fraud report and get a new debit card. Not worth having my current card number in the possession of a thief.

same here ... this is a phony # probably in Canada and cannot be traced. Filed dispute, but they will not trace it for such small amount. Think of it. If this thief does it to 1M people, get $9Million, and nobody seems to be interested to do anything about it

Me too, just this morning.
I found out that they have access to my card number. I do PayPal and USPS online, that is pretty much it. Do you all have either of these two? Maybe we can get together and compare notes as to what we all access, and see what we have done online in common with each other and run this scum bag down. Somebody has to start somewhere and maybe we can be the ones (working together) to put this scuze bag in their place.

Hmmmmmmm, I just now ran across this problem. I have a site online that I just submitted a one month subscription with and found out that through some unknown glitch that the button I clicked on made it become a reoccuring auto draw from my bank acct........its not suppose to be that, was just one transaction at my PayPal.................I went to send them an e-mail to their contact e-mail (pal@ultimatetopsites.com), and got this back in my mail box just now: Hi. This is the qmail-send program at yahoo.com.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following

Hi, I am so anxious to find this scammer that it isn't even funny.
What is CFM scam? I want to know this so I can avoid it. My bank isn't even interested in doing a thing, but I bet Dateline or Bill O'Riley..........or someone like that might :)

I was wrong on this one........got an e-mail back from the source and the e-mail addy that was enetered, was entered incorrectly.........they are a legitamate site.......my mistake........just so want to catch this dude doing this to our accts

I also was charged with 8.99 on my visa check card.  Plan to go to my bank today to file a dispute with them.  The charge was made 8/29 from Harry Dean 8005725389 Fl 8.99.

A charge for 8.99 showed up on my debit card 9/3. WTF and who is HARRY DEAN 800-572-5389 FL??? Called Bank to dispute and was told to file a police report or cancel debit card.

Same thing as the others, same name and charge amount ($8.99) in late July.  I don't use my card for much over the internet, but I had used it at USPS recently.  Replaced the card and disputed the charge.  Hope the guy's caught...

I never received a phone call from 1800 572 5389 but I did get charged $8.99 on my account/visa from HARRY DEAN 800 572 5389 FLUS.  This is unautorized; and now I have to cancel my account and change all of my automatic payment set ups.  This isn't right and I am in the process of filing a police report.

Not only am I filing a police report- I have reported this to my local news channel in hopes of spreading the word.  This just burns me up inside that someone is getting rich quick.  $8.99 isn't alot to some people but if you check other sites there are other victims and that $8.99 is adding up!!!

$8.99 ...............   Voice mail with no returned call..............   I see a very recurring theme here!!      I too got the $8.99 charge from Harry Dean on my checking account debit card on 9/12.   Never heard of Harry Dean.  Ever!   Have had to close my debit card and have new one issued.  Hassle indeed.   What a jerk this guy is.  Hope he gets caught!!

my boyfriend did some research on HARRY DEAN 800 572 5389 and found info about the company - Harry Dean LLC, 1221 Brickell Ave 9th FL, Miami FL 33131. He contacted a number for their lawyer.  The woman who answered the phone said she would have to research to find out who this issue would be forwarded to and took down his information.  What crap! He is getting the run around on this scam too.  I am not done with this yet.

This is a bogus company stealing money from people and I am going to have a lawyer look into this.

I got an email back from someone at HARRY DEAN- they apologized and offered up a refund if i sent them the last 4 digits of my card that they charged.

I had to laugh. Are you kidding me?  Why would I want to give you this info when you have already fraudulently charged me to begin with!  Nice try.

I told them that the police have been notified etc.  but this time I didn't  get the quick response back from them.... hmmm wonder why?

never received a call just had a 8.99 charge show up on bank statement. will be calling them in the morning.
