received call from this number advising of Windows security breach

Caller ID shows 800 Service.
From Microsoft security department (yeah, right!!). I must call 866-833-0231 or my services will be stopped and I won't be able to use my computer. They're gutsier than other spam callers...they actually left a message.

Mike I have to agree with you. I got the same msg. left on my answering machine while I was out & just listened to it. I agree scam suspicion!

Yes me too but the thing is I have an IMac computer go figure!!  Scammers!!

The message left was from the number 800-580-0958 however told me to call back to 620-282-6026, did not say the name of the company at the beginning of the message, talked about my SSN #, etc..... Thanks for your post as I agree with everyone. So tired of this.
