In scam letter with revenue Canada letterhead

I had a phone call from 7097724473 on Aug 13, 2019. I said I was in a meeting; then, she asked me to call 1-800-580-6652 when I was available.  I did a quick search and concluded they were scammer.

Same thing here but they called me from 7097725934 and then left me a message asking to call the 18005806652 number. Of course I called it and the lady asked for my SIN number lol. I asked if she was near a P.C or computer, she answered with yes I walked her to the CRA web site and showed her the list of number's the CRA has and uses and that you can call, and how this is not one of them. she got so pissed at me. lol I am assuming it was a scam as i was not giving out my info and we never got into the reason for the call

This is valid CRA number. They put it as a contact number in their mail sent through CRA website.
"If you have questions about this letter, call 1-800-580-6652. Our telephone agents are available Monday to Friday (except holidays) from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Newfoundland time. Be ready to give us your social insurance number and other information so we can verify your identity."

Yes it is.  Just received it from another agent when I called them.

1.800.580.6652 is a legitimate CRA number. I called them on this number today, after getting it from another agent on a previous call, to check on the progress of my assessment review. 06 March, 2020.

This is a valid Revenue Canada number. It is located in Newfoundland and "deals with Processing Review ONLY"

does anyone know why if you call this number it immediately hangs up on you??

Hey Dan  you are a scammer, and comments put here from others agreeing with you are scammers. Get a real job!

This is a scam call, the CRA phone number is listed on the CRA website and it is NOT this number.
The safest thing to do is call CRA at the number on their website and verify if they are trying to reach you, and report the scam number to the police.
