Hi! I had a call from a suspicious and unknown voice from that same number. Let me ask you if they used and ext #131 and did you ever find out the purpose of this call?

A woman called and said a matter had been filed in her office that my wife and I were not aware of.  She said it was a business matter and she needed my name and SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER (this is the red flag).  She wanted us to call her back at 800-580-8615 XT 138.  She said it was important that we contact her so she could file a "Public Protection Status" on our behalf.

Well, I called back.  The number is registered to Syncom.  It is a debt collection agency.  Whooops...thought that had been taken care of ages ago (guess not).  Arrangements were made with my deepest apologies given.

I have had threatening phone calls from this number.Told them the person they are looking for has not had this number in over 10 years to stop calling.Well the other day a man called and left a threatening message and someone called today,I told him under section 806 they have got to stop/. Remember this next time someone harresses you.Section 806.

You sound like you might be a poster from Syncom....

I have received over 20 calls in a two week period from this number.  Since I was on vacation, I was unable to return any of the calls; my supervisor advised me that I should "get in contact with this company and inform them that personal telephone calls are not allowed at this worksite".  I have attempted to return the call to them, using the claim number provided in the voice mail and yet no one knows why anyone called from this company...Go figure.....If anyone has an address for this organization, I would love to write them and request that they cease the calls to my placeof employment.

I received a similar call from someone who asked me to call back at 1-800-580-8615, with an extension number and reference number.  The hold message identified the company as "Syncom", and when I spoke with the man, he asked if I knew or was related to someone with a name that I didn't recognize.  He said that their database had returned my name as a possible relative to this person (which I was not).  He said that his company was a debt collection agency.  A web search on Syncom turned up Synergetic Communication, Inc., as a debt collection agency.

someone called me from this number also left a name Amy Font and ext 179. I tried to call back but no one picked up. She left a file numb also.

Called extended family with a message to call them back regarding a civil matter?

A man called from this number asking to speak with my father. My father has been dead for 4 years so I told them that it wasn't possible for me to put him on the phone and asked what the call was regarding. Caller was rude and told me he didn't believe what I saying and he would make a personal visit to my house if I didn't tell him the truth. I told him that I'll be sending a tape of this conversation to the cops and hung up.

Why do these [***] have to harass people like this?

Someone with a garbled name called my workplace, identified the company as Synergetic Communications, and requested I call them and that this was an attempt to collect a legal debt, or something simialar.  Car was repo'd years ago and I actually know the person who bought the car.  This company has been paid, and is still trying to recover the entire debt amount!!  Oh yeah, I informed them when they called a couple of years ago to NEVER call me at work.  If they get rude, since they've violated this directive, I will sue.

My mom recieved a call from this number asking if she was related to me, and they needed to speak with me. My mom has moved numerous times and doesnt even have the same last name as me, she is remarried and so am I, but some how they still managed to call her. craziness. name was mrs moses and ext 160

Someone called using asking to talk to a Mrs. ___ ____ and used a name of a partnership that I had dissolved years ago and referenced 2 people that I've never heard of.  They asked that I call 800-580-8615 x 173 to talk about these 2 people.  Said they needed to talk with these two people (as if we knew them) about a 'personal matter'

I dialed the number and nothing happened.

Caller left a message on the answering machine attempting to reach a relative.  The caller said the call was from Synergic Communications, provided an extension number, and asked for the call back.

This caller called my daughter in another state and said they were looking to contact me. When my daughter asked for what reason, the caller said it had to do with business and she was not allowed to reveal what she needed to talk to me about. The caller asked my daughter to forward the name syncom to me and have me call the 800 number.  How easy it is to get info off the internet about my family.... that should be a punishable crime.

Got a call from Sandra Doyle, I must say she was very polite with me. Said that she "wanted a statement" from my boss who was on vacation at the time. I told her I would relay a message to him and she asked me to "Please mark it as important"

I got a call from them at my place of employment, calling for "employment verification of someone  The person they were looking for hadn't worked at my company for 15 months and I know for a fact isn't working due to where he is.  Luckily, I am the receptionist, but I'm also HR and do employment verifications all the time.  I can't figure out why they called, they didn't even give a company name.  I did confuse the lady who called though.

To top it off, the former employee is also my boyfriend.  So it was definitely a red flag the moment they asked for his name.

Paula Rainey called and left a message with my mother to call her at this number or 713-460-3114 x 138 because of an important matter several times.  She asked for both me and my sister by name in reference to a Mobile Home Repo.  Neither of us have ever owned mobile homes.

Called repeated looking for a Leslie  have told them repeated they have the wrong number Never Idenify themselves
