I got a call from some guy claiming he was trying to collect a debt. He named a model of car I've never owned, didn't identify any company name, gave only his first name and an account number. He gave me this number as a contact number along with an extension. Weird.

I HATE getting unsoliceted calls on my private phone. Has gotten worse since obama care

Don't you just love posts like this? They hate it, but they won't do anything about it. As usual, a Government program gets the blame. House doors? They lock them. Car doors? They lock them. Insurance? They carry it. But when it comes to the telephone, be it land line or cell phone - nothing. It's a case of 'Well it should work the way I want'. The phone company should do this you say? When you buy a house, does it protect itself? A telephone is a direct link to YOU. Protect it. Call blocking service, app, or device.

unsoliceted calls been going on before Obama got into office and it did not get worse.

So Obama being office,  increases unsolicited calls? Your stupid!

Consider rewording, I thinks I know to which your leading about.

Obviously a robo call. No matter what the motivation, a live person would never just pull a random number out of the air.
