- CWG40 replies to DONALDROBINSONCalls himself Joe Lane or Joseph Lane. Someone by that name has been engaged in debt scamming for some time now.
According to 800notes, he’s called from:

716-504-6867
281-374-4389

716-418-7211
866-404-5327
800-587-1192
585-730-6184
And may call from other numbers.
He uses abusive language, won’t give you any information has to who he actually works for, and will not give you a debt validation letter.
Fact is, based on what I’ve read, he violates the Federal Fair Debt Collection Act on a pretty regular basis.
He’s used the CID of
Legal Outsourcing
DLS
American Coradius International LLc
court mediations.us
Court Mediation Services
County Court Mediation Serices.
In short, he’s an all-around debt scammer.
But-- nobody knows where he is located or who he really works for. - Brian H| 6 repliesHave called several times. Claim to be what everybody on this page says also acts the same as everybody has stated. I'd call it a scam however the people they say they are trying to collect from are actually on my credit report as a unpaid account. Somebody has taken out a payday loan in my name and this is where it has lead to. This has been ongoing with different collections agencies for 1.5+ years. Because of that it has a ring of truth to it. I have their abuse recorded, have contacted an attorney and am reporting them to the FTC. If their calling and harassing you, i would first check your credit report to see if their claims are on there. If so, fight it from there and feel free to contact me @ flynlow69@gmail.com if you'd like to follow up with what I have accomplished with it, if anything. They do also call from 832-730-4914

- Brian H replies to Brian HAnother thing that has a "ring of truth" to it is that if you call and give them other information besides what they call with, They will tell you that you're not in their system rather than say something like "oh yes... you owe. How do you want to pay.".. Still possible to be a scam. More to follow!
- CWG40 replies to DONALDROBINSONSo does everybody else. No one's been able to properly ID this guy. I think he's just a part of a group of white collar criminals that go around trying to scare up money from people based on old or legally unenforceable debts.
- concerned replies to Brian H| 4 repliesevery time you run your credit report your score goes down, did you know that
- Pudge replies to concerned| 1 replyBrian, you are INCORRECT. Checking your OWN credit score is referred to as a "soft inquiry" and has NO affect on your score. You can read about other myths and truths here:

Wrong. Definitely wrong.
There are "soft inquiries" that do nothing to your score. Soft inquiries include ones made on one's own report, or by a NON lender. Again, they do nothing to the score.
"Hard inquiries" are made by a potential lender. They may or may not affect one's score.

- AlexI got a pop up on IPhone 6+ and it said my phone had a virus and that my info: cards, bank, photos and all contacts, were compromised. He advised that I needed to pay $39.99 to remove the virus and he needed to debit/credit card now to process the payment. I hung up. It was very noisy in the background and the man had an Indian acsent. I googled the # and it is not attached to any customer service for Apple or its affiliates.

- Resident47 replies to C elkinsTry learning your rights. The first page holds quite a few remarks and links to start you on your homework. The general theme is that there are right and wrong ways for debt collectors to operate. When laws they disobey, you must refuse to pay!
- Resident47 replies to C elkinsThe supposed payment deadline is here, and it's safe to assume no collection lawsuit was filed, and never will be.
