- Tracy replies to stinkyI entered my phone number in what I thought was a legitimate web site. Next thing I know on 10/8/08 @ 2:53 pm I get a text "put in this pin on our web site to join - joining will be 9.99 a month. Or reply to this message with STOP." On 10/8/08 @ 2:53 pm - I reply STOP. Today 10/30/08 I got my cell phone bill - it had a $9.99 charge for premium texting. WHAT!! - Call the cell phone company - they put a block on my phones for this premium texting and refunded the charge. But - I was still angry. So I decided that the BBB (Better Business Bureau) was going to get a complaint from me on that SLIMLIZARD 1-800-591-2315 company. But - wow - what an effort to try to find out where the company is from. But - HA - I found it - thanks to a cool web site I was able to find out that SLIMLIZARD is:

So if any of you have been charged and are ticked off like I am -- contact the BBB and file a complaint. - Angela| 1 replySomehow we got hooked up with the notorious SlimLizard, don't know exactly how. After 3 months of $9.99 charges (didn't notice the first two months, duh) I called T-Mobile and they not only won't refund the charges, they make you call SlimLizard to cancel the "subscription" you never ordered, wanted, or approved. They cheerfully accept the charge from SlimLizard (who they know to be disreputable), then make their customers figure out how to get rid of it. I made a call to SlimLizard and the representative said that the charges would be refunded, but a text message received later said only that the subscription had been canceled and no FURTHER charges would be incurred What a scam. This really makes me mad, at both SlimLizard and T-Mobile. I wonder if a call to the AZ attorney general would be in order.

- burned for 3 months replies to AngelaBasically the same thing here. My wife's cell bill went up one month so she assumed that her discount had expired. BTW her service covers both her and our daughter. Today we find out that there is a subscription service charge from SL attached to our daughter's service. Her carrier is Verizon and they too will not refund or cancel the subscription. So our fun is about to begin on hammering SL for a refund for a service billed to a minors phone. Thanks for the physical address.
