- Fed_UP!!!Called us at 08:59 AM EST. Answered call, heard caller hang up. Rang us again 09:01 AM EST. =Hung up again.
I rang their number at 09:11 AM EST. No option to speak with an attendant/operator. Selected option for "employment" as it was only one which might yield HUMAN contact. Person I spoke with would not identify herself. Checked company's database for my phone number= no hits. She asked me " How did YOU get OUR NUMBER?" "ARE YOU SURE YOU RANG THE RIGHT NUMBER." I re-explained Caller ID, Caller ID data capture, and REDIAL NUMBER BUTTONS to her. She insisted call "COULD NOT be from Pico Solutions,"Part of Echelon".(Googled phone number. Their website states they're Grid Solutions")
I requested to be placed on their company's DO NOT CALL LIST "No such list." Advised hey DO have a list OR they are in violation of T.C.P.A. (Company DNC list is FEDERAL LAW. They MUST maintain such a list.) Obviously this person was baffled and overwhelmed.. I asked for her supervisor.
3 minutes later I got "Harry Smith, Supervisor." Retold all the above. He stated they are a call center, 250 agents. Their customers are utility companies (Gas, electric etc .) I requested to be placed on their company's DO NOT CALL LIST. He stated they have no such list. Explained T.C.P.A to Harry. He stated, "You're not in our database. Obviously a mis-dialed number." I reminded him they rang me TWICE. He stated they could not help me....- Caller: 800-606-7981 (Pico Solutions//Grid Solutions)
