Called multiple times.  Didn't leave a message.

It is the ARC of Kitsap Jefferson counties looking for household donations.

We get so many calls from this number..they never leave a message..Is there anyway to have the calls stop? I've heard you can tell them they can be fined $1,500.00 everytime they call you...Is this true? If so please inform me as to how you go to report them?

It's the ARC requesting donations of clothing and household goods.  They are a nonprofit organization, so I don't think the fine would apply to them.  Hope this helps.

They are not selling so they have a loop hole to use for calling or so I was told. Maybe they would take you off their list if asked? I just ignore them as a minor nuisance.

Even charities and survey companies not selling or qualifying you as a sales prospect for a 3rd party are required to maintain an internal Do Not Call list and place numbers on it when requested.  They have 30 days to comply before you can sue them. Also, in general your request only applies to the specific survey or charity. So if they are doing surveys for multiple clients or soliciting for multiple charities you have to request you not be called for each one.  They only way to get a specific call center to permanently stop all calls is to send them a notarized "Cease and Desist" via certified mail demanding all telephone calls from them to your number cease permanently.  You need to keep a copy of the letter and the signature receipt when it comes back to be able to sue them.

I am on the do not call list and want them to stop calling. if I have donation I just take them to goodwill!

keep getting a call from this number. needs to stop. we are on the DO NOT CALL LIST..........
