this number is a scam asking for taxes on a fake sweepstakes win.

my 90-year-old father got a call that he won a sweepstakes and they were going to come to the house to take him to his bank to deposit the money directly into the account!  They had previously only had mail contact with him.  they asked for his phone number and then a photo so they could "publish" it in their winner's publication.  Called themselves "International Sweepstakes".  I called this number and asked for the contact Julia -- she said, "this is Julia."  And then she played dumb first like there was static on the line and she couldn't hear me, and then said she was with a law firm in Albany NY and had no idea what I was talking about.  Told her if anyone comes to the house, the police would be waiting.  Then we called the police and filed a police report!

Call showed on Caller ID as Kentucky Call 859-261-1763. The older sounding woman said her name was Billie and she could be reached at 859-261-1763 or at 800-613-1751and to call her back at our earliest convenience. I decided to Google it before I called her back and found out that it's a scam. She did not identify where she was calling from but we are a company and she left the message like she would be soliciting our company for the services we provide.
