Also told me to call to find out why my debit or atm card was blocked. How does one find out who set up the phone number or email account? I tried to call the number again later the same night but the number did not work anymore. Also I tried to contact the email address at the same time but says website not found. Who is supposed to investigate this? My bank seemed to be not very interested when I told them.

If you have TMobile, you can log in online to your account and block the "email address" that this was coming from. My husband and I got several of these and when I called, TMobile walked me through how to block these from appearing on my phone.

FYI TMobile said that they ARE aware of these particular "emails" that are being sent...these are not really text messages, but emails that are sent to your cell via a number, which is why the number changes. They said that they are working to resolve this, but right now are not able to stop it in any other way except for us to block it (which they can do for you; just call 611 from your phone.) Whoever is doing this is sending it out to the numbers in an area code, betting that at least some of the people will have accounts at Keesler. Keesler would NEVER ask for your account info...why would they? They have it already!
