- OlegA machine is calling me leaving messages about some "important business matter" that they need to discuss with me. If it is so important have a real person call me!!! They did mention their company name. OSI Solutions or something to this effect.
- GeorgeI have a small bill (.22) which was incorrectly billed by IDT many years ago. IDT said this bill was in error.
Now OSI claims to have "PURCHASED" this bill and I now owe over 50.00!
I am advised by an attorney to send a certified letter to the address on the bill stating why this bill is in error.
Send a copy of your certified letter to:

- JaneIsn't there already a class action suit against IDT?
I've been getting these phone calls from that (IDT) number. - JaneI just posted about IDT -- and the class action suit.
I mistyped the number appearing on the caller ID.
The number should be: 1-800-819-0279 and NOT 1-800-819-2079
Also a message is left on the answering machine but it tells me to call 1-800-624-1943 (which I found through this website that it is IDT). - Joy JonesThey keep calling me...a machine does...I am certain I paid the IDT bill years ago but I am unable to locate my cancelled check. Imagine that!!

- Kathleen HumphreyI do not want calls that the phone number is blocked or that do not identify themselves. Also, I do not want messages left that do not identify themselves or have a real person call. If the call is that important then they can identify themselves or send a letter.

- AdamJust called this evening.
- TDI'm reporting this on behalf of my parents. They live in PA, have received countless answering machine messages over the past few months from this number. A recording says to call about an "important business matter." Reported this harassment to their phone company, which refuses to deal with it as a nuisance call because it's a "collection agency." Reported it to the feds; same deal. I finally called the number myself and demanded they stop calling. I doubt it will work.
My parents have NO outstanding debts; however, they did have problems a few years ago with a fraudulent IDT phone bill that they refused to pay. Having read other people's accounts of their experiences with this number, I suspect that may be the reason behind these phone calls.- Caller: OSI Recovery Solutions

- KKMy Husbands parents got a call yesterday about an outstanding bill he had with IDT. My husband called the number back and talked to this lady and she told him that the outstanding phone bill was for $384.00 from Feb - May 2001 and his parents phone number was a good call back number for him. The funny thing is that his parents just purchased their house from my husband and only had their current phone number for 2 years. That was fishy to me and so I researched the phone number and came up with other comments. Glad I did!

- Senior Lady/ NevadaA "free" dial up service came with my new computer two years ago. I cancelled the "free" one after signing on with sbcglobal...yet, they began to take monthly fees once the "free" time period ended, from my account WITHOUT my permission. My bank changed my account number, my debit card, and I also followed up with a certified letter stating that I'd NEVER their customer and had NEVER given permission to deduct payments from my account.
Good old IDT tried to get me to admit to this "bill" and pay them for 4 months in 2005. Another letter on my attorney's letterhead made it stop.
Now, two years later, this same 800-624-1943 number is starting to harrass me with the "important business matter" messages! I'm sure it is about the same old charges.- Caller: IDT

- RajanEvery week i get recorded call from 1-800-624-1943. They want to contract with me. I don't know who is this, and why they want?
- cherylI received a recorded message about an important business matter & they actually knew my name. So, I decided to call the number back. It is, indeed, OSI Recovery Services (a collection agency). They have apparently bought (or whatever) some of AOL's old accounts. AOL has been ripping people off for years - taking money out of people's checking accounts without authorization, charging for service that people don't get, etc. Look it up - there's page after page after page of complaints about AOL. My account with AOL ended almost two years ago & they are still harrassing me for money I do not owe.
Is there a class action lawsuit against AOL yet?- Caller: OSI Recovery Services
