- LindaI don't have a citibank account or credit card, NEVER HAD, so I'm not sure why they're calling me. No message was left. Either a mistake or some sort of scam using the number.
- Caller: Citibank
- John| 2 repliesI looked up the number before answering and it said CitiBank. So I picked up and it was a robocall that said "CitiBank" and then a bunch of non-English words followed.
- R replies to JohnSame for me
- deegeeI am a Citibank customer but they do not have my cell phone number, the one they called me at. Therefore, it must be a Citibank scammer or number spoofer. I hung up without really answering it. Looks like some scammer has been busy using Citibank's number to spoof calls.
- Jamie replies to JohnSame here. I just got a call and a woman was speaking in Chinese. I am not Chinese nor do I speak Chinese.

- KI'm not a Citibank customer. I got a call just now from this number. I have a Pixel so I call screened it, and according to the transcript the caller said "Ok thank you so much have a nice day, this is Doug how can I help you". I then reported the call as spam and it hung up on them. The screening service said it couldn't understand what the caller was saying, and since I was just reading a transcript of what was said I don't know what they actually said (probably wasn't English based on the other comments). Definitely seems like someone is spoofing their phone number

- Mrs. JonesI had 2 missed calls within the same minute. No voicemail left. After reading the previous comments, I, too, believe the number is spoofed. I do not have any affiliation with Citibank products.
- Peter| 1 replyIf you call this number a robo voice says Citi Bank. The message on my voice mail was a robo caller talking in an oriental language. They also called me yesterday on (312) 642-4290. Number is now blocked!
- Caller: Citi Bank?

- Lu replies to WhistlerIt may be Citibank's number but the Chinese gobbledygook message was someone hijacking the number for a scam.
- Lu replies to PeterI got the same 2 calls from both numbers. On my cell. Sounded Chinese. Annoying robocaller.
- BobBlocked by call filter - I don't have anything to do with CitiBank, So, I suspect it's a scam.

- ChrisI've had several calls like this today. In my case it was an Indian-sounding guy saying he was with Citibank's Fraud department. He asked if I'd approved international charges including $750 for a Saudi Airline and $300 for Amazon. He told me he was going to cancel my card and send me a new one...but just needed to confirm some information . That was the first sense I had that something was wrong. The caller then slipped when he told me he wanted to verify charges for my 'debit' card ending in 4 numbers that did not match my Corporate card from Citi (or any of my other cards). I shut him down and later called Citi to ask about this. The Citi rep told me if their fraud deparment called me it would be a message to call them back and verify.
