Received a call this morning (October 17 2007, Eastern time). Called back and got shady voicemail that immediately asked for my phone number. Gave them a BS on one and got to a real person. I googled them and found

Looked up their address on Google Maps, found an actual place in some business/industrial park.

It seems like a pretty extensive website, but maybe the number is someone trying to impersonate the real company? Anyway, mad shady.

They called about five times in one hour. I googled them and got this website.

I've gotten calls also.  But they reached my personal line for a corporate matter.  Shady is definitely the word for it.
It looks like a collection agency to me.
You can tell right away from the tone of the operators that they are a collection agency.  Customer service rejects.
The thing is, my company does not owe any money.  Very suspicious.

Yes, this is correct. I had received numerous calls on my cell phone from some recording asking me to press 1 if I was "insert name here". Today I got a live phone call (well live after I indicated I was the person they were trying to reach). After much rigamarole they said they were collecting for back taxes I owe for 2008.

They left me no message, but New York is mad at me about back taxes, so there you are.
