02/18 - Calling demanding payment from my energy provider - it is not my provider - this is a phishing expedition.

If you get a phone call from this number report them immediately to Duke energy, they have their security Operations investigating this. Please don’t be duped by these idiots, again make a report with customer service and call the direct number.

Called our business, claimed that the power bill was overdue and needed to speak to person in charge. I said he's on the phone and asked if we can call back, and the guy said have him call the billing dept. ASAP, otherwise the power will be shut off in 1 hour. The number to call back was different from the caller ID number, it was 800-391-5235.
