Called saying it was an emergency and my Microsoft Windows license had expired. I don't have Microsoft windows. Asked me to call a toll-free number different than the one they called from.

Keep getting a call from this number....I don't answer and they do not leave a message

Called in the middle of the afternoon.  Caller ID listed "Unavailable."  Left no message.  . . . Well, I'm unavailable, too!

Thanks to all of the above posters for their info.  I feel certain that I was targeted to receive a Microsoft sales pitch from scammers, too.

This is a scam phone call, trying to convince people that their Microsoft license has expired. Microsoft licenses don't expire. Notice that it's an automated call, & that it has a computer generated voice. It sounds like when I use the Text-to-Speech option on Microsoft Word. These are typical signs of a low-tech scammer.

They left message, barely able to understand them made it sound like and emergency.  I waited  day and then called the number. It was busy. I am sure it was a scam.  (Have to give them points for at least leaving a message, most scam calls I get just call 2 times and hang up.)

Just blocked that number--same message--Microsoft lic expired--dumb woman trying to sound sexy--what a joke
