800-635-3743

I've been getting called about 3 times a day for about 7 days now and when my answering machine picks up it leaves this message. "We need to talk to you about a personal business matter! Please call 1-800-635-3743." Different messages than what I'm seeing above.
What would happen if I answer the phone to talk to these idiots BUT BEFORE doing that i pick a name from the "Obituaries" make a false SS# and date of birth and let them get a phone number from me that happens to be the police or FBI number" would they be stupid enough to keep harassing them like they do to us???
I wonder!!!! What action would take place then????

I am so glad I reviewed this number before calling them back.  I received one call so far from 800-635-3743 with the generic "please call our office regarding a personal matter" line.  Well upon googling the number to see who it is I find it is this Student Loan company or whatever.  I know for a fact that it is not for myself or anyone in our household.  The reason?  My husband IS going to school but we have not taken out ONE single student loan.  Not one.  ZERO.  Zilch.  Nada.  So I am assuming that they buy the information from local campuses or the campuses that you or family member is going to and robocalls those looking for someone to bite.

I have been receiving "phone calls" from 18003359188.  The voicemail says I need to contact them about an urgent business matter.  When I googled the telephone number they left in the VM, I saw there were several comments about this.  Also the VM left an unsecure website address (loansolutions.usafunds.org).  That right there looks bogus.

I have already been contacted by the proper student loan servicing agent and am in the process of working with them.

Practices like these are part of why Sallie Mae is being sued by the Feds and several State Attorney Generals!

Bullcrap...the message I got for this number did not use that company name.  It was something like Loan Solutions USA...so maybe a 'real' company name was used at times...but this is just not real.

We are getting calls from 1-800-635-3743 on a regular basis.  The caller id says Massachusetts. The lady (robo call) says we need to call their office after 8 a.m. eastern time about a very important business issue.  No other information is left.  Calls are very annoying.
