- ES| 1 replyAll the automated number does is give you a number to return thier call regarding a letter that they say they have sent you. My questions are; Who are 'they' and what letter?? I will not call them back.
- Eb| 1 replyTarget Check Services. If you had a returned check most likely.
- Caller: Target

- ChrissiNumber has called me repeatedly for the last two days. Have not answered, but it can't be from a bad check....I don't write checks. If I find out what they want, I will post again....
- PBCalls, but never leaves message. Want this to stop!
- Munson| 2 repliesA lady called from this number looking for my daughter, who's away at college. She wouldn't provide any details to me since my daughter is 18, but my wife filled me in. (We received a letter here at our home, and my daughter wasn't even aware of what happened!) Apparently she wrote a check at Target that bounced, but has since cleared the bank. Yet, Target still wants to suck a $30 "processing fee" out of her. Apparently, the company isn't satisfied with the $2.926 billion profit last quarter. I called back and told them where they could stick their "processing fee".

- OliverDid not receive a call but got the letter from good old Target. I also had a check that did not get paid the first run and was paid on second run. We had a error on our overdraft at the bank. I called this number on the letter and explained it to them and told them we could show them the error from the bank. They siad not our problem and we needed to pay it or it was going to collection's. Told them to send it to collections. That is such BS. We have a small business and have had customers checks do the same thing and the bank has not ever charged us a fee that i would have to pass on to our customers. Only when a check is returned to the store is there a fee attached. Target has a good scam going and adding to their bottom line. Well they just lost a customer. No that out 3000.00 a year is that much but I would rather it go to a true company that takes care of their customers.

- W.T.F.| 2 repliesThis number keeps calling me - twice, sometimes three times a day, every few days - even on Sunday. Once at 11pm. I googled the number to see who the hell it was because they never say who they are or leave a message. I had assumed it was a solicitor.
Now, seeing all the comments, it makes sense. I had a check that bounced over Christmas because my bank was closed and had not cleared my direct deposit paycheck.
Target runs it through again several days later and it goes through... BUT NOW THEY WANT THEIR "PROCESSING FEE".
I couldn't have said it better than Munson - that's exactly where their f*$@&ing "processing fee" can go.- Caller: Target
- Call type: Debt collector

- MelIt's a company that works for Target collecting NSF or resubmit fees on bounced checks.
- Lindsey| 1 replyIts Target, wanting to collect their processing fee. Maybe if our economy would pick up, we wouldnt have to write bad checks to survive!!!
- Caller: target coorporation
- Kelly replies to jpb| 1 replyI keep getting calls from this number to my cellphone and it's not even me they are looking for, some lady who lives in the same area as me must have used my phone number on her check and knowingly wrote a bad check - which by the way is a federal offense to knowingly write a bad check... I never write checks at stores, EVER.
I called the number back and they noted their account that it was incorrect info, the thing that ticks me off the most is the guy on the phone sounded wary, like I was lying. Why would I lie, if I bounced a check I would pay the damn fee. - Sarah replies to LindseyI totally agree with you, my bank keeps telling me to not spend money, but how in the hell is a person supposed to live? The economy sucks, and those of us that are always broke are the ones that are suffering, and we keep suffering because of bounced check fees. Seems like the rutt will never end!
