Does anyone know who 800-635-8650 *OR* 214-919-4163 is?

My venture is that it's a payday loan company trying to collect on a debt that was paid. But if anyone has more information, that'd be great.

Got a call today from that phone number, said they were looking for a someone (not me).  Sounded like a police officer, saying Tracy is the target of an investigation and that it is imperative that she contact him voluntarily (makes it sound serious!!), but I've never heard of that person, so I'm ignoring it.

This phone number belongs to a company called "InterChex Systems".

They have harassed me on several occasions. When I reported them to both the BBB and the FTC, I was told that they've "never contacted me before", which is a load of hooey.

This company is just a scam.  I was given 2 different numbers for the same person, 1-800-635-8650 and 214-919-4175.  They told me I had a complaint on me for an outstanding payday loan from Dec 2008 from webpaydayloan.  When I asked for the company's phone number to call and verify the man told me if I called the company it was harassment.  When I got off the phone with the man I looked up the number to the company and called them and they had no record of me.  I also called my bank because the man said my bank was cooperating with him to take me to court.  My bank had no notes in their system of such thing.  All they do is make you mad and threaten you.

I have been harassed by Interchex for the last week.  First I get a call from Mr. Calhoon who leaves me a voicemail and his direct phone number.  I call the number about an hour later and a Mr. Brown answers the phone (with a voice suspicially like Mr. Calhoon) I tell Mr. Brown that he sounds like Mr. Calhoon and I would like to speak to him.  Mr. Brown asks me to wait on the line.  Several minutes later Mr. Calhoon comes on the line and I tell him that he sounds just like Mr. Brown.  He asks me who Mr. Brown is and says that he will connect me to someone else.  At this point I hang up ( but first tell them they are scamming me )  I call right back and Mr. Reese answers the phone.  When I explain to Mr. Reese that Mr. Brown and Mr. Calhoon sound exactly alike on the phone he tells me that yes indeed they are the same person and Brown/Calhoon goes by both names.  He said that Brown/Calhoon was most likely "embarrassed" that he had answered the phone incorrectly as one is a Brown is his casual name and Calhoon is his professional name.  I tell Reese that I believe I am being scammed and he suggest I check their website.  Well of course it looks like a legitimate web site but anyone can have a website to convey whatever information they wish.  Additionally the website only gives an 800 number and that goes straight to an automated operator.

The reps say they are operating out of Buffalo, NY but the direct line I was given is a Texas number.  I contacted the Secretary of State in NY and there are no complaints filed against Interchex Systems LLC, The have been registered in New York since August of 2010.

I have also contacted the Secretary of State in Texas (where I believe the company is actually operating from) as well as the Secretary of State in Montana (where I reside)  This just stinks of scam to me.

They are not in Texas they use "spoof" to make the caller ID number show up as if they are. The office is in Buffalo Ny 268 Main Street the loan you're being called on is probably real. Their right to collect it may or may not be legal. I can tell you your balance has been inflated. Can you be jailed? NO NO NO. The owner of the company bought your debt for 1 to 3 cents per dollar. Don't let them scare you.

I have information about this company, we should make a group demand against them. They call my work and told them they were from the courthouse and they will arrest me if I didnt make a payment to a payday loan that I had in 2009. My boss is very upset with me and told that I could loose my job if I have problems with the police. I check my credit report and the company that have this account is Professional Mediation Inc. I been sending them debt validation letters certified mail and they dont answer my letters. I been sending them letters for the last 2 months. And now this company Interchex  Systems in 268 Main St, Suite 102 Buffalo, NY 14202 contact my work on Feb 24, 2011. Maybe they just bought the account and they use or this illegal methods to collect the money.

I heard from Montana Banking and Financing Division of the Department of Administration.  I was told that it is a scam and that it is illegal in the State of Montana to not only lend payday loans via the internet but they have no jurisdiction to collect.  I have since left messages with Interchex telling them what I have discovered and that if they continue to harass me I will take legal action.

These people keep calling claiming to be government officials. Investigator Donnie Allen.  Today someone else left a message saying they were from my county.  They did not even pronounce my county correctly!!! What a load of crap.  I will be filing complaints today.  What is going on that these people have not been shut down?  They must have to compinsate for something lacking in their lives to take a job like that and harass hard working americans.  Its unbelievable.  How sick can you be to pretend you are going to arrest someone when you clearly are not and most likely using illegal tactics.

I received a call yesterday from a man and asked me to hold - a minute later another man got on the line and said I had 4 complaints on me and he wanted to give me a summons and I was to wait for him I asked what he was talking about and he started yelling at me so I started recording the call and told him I was and he yelled back he would be by in 20 min and I did not have permission to record the call and then he hung up. I called the number back and the man answering the phone asked for my name when I told him he hung up this was the 214 #.Today I received another call from the 800-635-8650 and they asked for me by last name then first as they did yesterday so I hung up on them. 5 min later I received a call from my 86 years old father saying someone called yesterday saying he needed to get hold of me and to give me the number with a case number. and the same person just called again today sounding mad. To harass him has gone to far so I have contacted The Federal Court in Philadelphia and they have other people calling on same person. They are adding this to a case file to follow up on.

Got 2 calls today with same number. First a male called and then a female called with the same number and same ex number. Also the caller ID came back unknown no name or number. I have call rejection. If they block their number, how do they bypass the call rejection system? They leave no company name; all they say is we have a complaint on you.
