United Healthcare "Prescription refil reminder".  Twice a day, every day = harasement!! why called by UHC? Why not pharmacy???

United Healthcare performing random sampling of seniors with Medicare & prescriptions... asked to set appt when their pharmacist folks could call and check on my FIL's meds and see if there were any issues. The pharmacy guy had all info in hand (so we weren't giving out any info) and all we had to do was confirm/deny details  (such as prescribing MD, med name, dosage,  how taken, etc.). Service conducted to ensure seniors are getting/taking their meds.

I did not answer. Message left said Optumrx order has shipped but I have not ordered anything.

They continually call and when the answering machine picks up there is an automated voice that saying, "yes or no" then the calls ends.  After reading the other comments if this is a legitimate health care company calling I would hope they would have better technology to leave a full descriptive message of why they are calling. The caller ID only displays the 800 number.

They keep calling at dinner time. No, I do not need to have them explain to me for the upteenth time all about their wonderful new programs. For all I know they have spoofed United Health Care's number and its some ripoff artist trying to pry personal and financial information for gullible and vulnerable senior citizens.

They will not take no for answer

Left 2 minute voicemail of " are you gonna come to the phone" over and over.

Caller ID displays "UTD HLTH CARE N."

Automated caller lady says
"Hi, this is Doctor Morton, vice president of Population Health at United Healthcare. Is this Lance?"
I had to hang up at that point.

They probably don't know that I can't identify myself to unverified callers, nor can I accept information over the phone because of my health problem.
I'll be eager to read whatever they've got when they write to me about it in a letter.

It looks like this number is associated with American Association of Retired Persons.

Listened to the message, wal-mart said I authorized a 900 dollar video game and wanted me to push this button and that button.  Press nothing, hang up, you didn't win jack squat.
