They called me twide in one day while I was at work.So I called it back. I got a recording saying it was the American Assoication of State Troopers(AAST). Basically just a curisty call trying to get donation. So no biggy they call ALOT but at least they are always friendly and polite. And if you say no they leave you alone. So heads up to everyone if you gets this call just wait until they call again and pick up and either say no I don't want to hear it or sure they usually are very nice to me. I donate to Alabama State troppers and firefighters and all that every years so I know 99.99% are nice to you and if you say you don't want anything to do with it they understand too and don't bug you anymore but they do keep calling until someone answers trust me one year i tryied dodging them cause i felt bad because i didnt have the money to donate that year well they kept calling so finally i asnwered but no biggy they said they would call back at a later time if i wanted so.

Called two days in a row.  When I answered the 2nd day, and tried to tell them not to call back, that I was on the "Do Not Call" list, he got very ugly, kept butting in and wouldn't let me finish anything I was trying to say.  He would say things like "you don't ever want to help the troupers', or 'you don't want to help the children". I finally got ugly with him and told him to "shut up" and "don't call back".  Most of these telemarketing calls come at the holidays, and very little, if any, of the money collected goes to the stated cause.  If you want to help, give directly to the cause or to a verified group, ie.. Toys for Tots, Am. Red Cross, Salvation Army, etc.  These phone bangers take most of the money for themselves.
