I received a msg on my PC that I need to call this number to fix my PC. I did not call.  Does anyone know what ii is.  How can it show up and say " call this number ASAP " on my PC?  Is it a virus on my pc? I scanned it couple times and couldn't find any virus.  What should I do??  Please help..

This is a Hacker call .

These are crooks.  Do not call the number.  They plant virus-like software on websites and/or in ads.  They count on victims being ignorant, calling the number, and giving them a credit card number.  U.S. govt should hit them with a drone attack.  If you have an Apple, go to the Apple menu and click on "Force Quit" then choose Safari or whatever browser you are using. Force your browser to close.  Then reopen it... and you'll be fine. This is the only way to exit out of their trap.  Same for Windows -- Force the app to shut down through the operating system... it can't be closed from within the app itself.
