   America's Servicing Company (ASC) is a division of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage that services loans for other investors under the America’s Servicing Company name.
   The vast majority of America’s Servicing Company mortgages were originated by other lenders, packaged into securities, and sold by those lenders into the secondary market.
   As a result, Wells Fargo had no involvement in the origination or underwriting of the vast majority of loans serviced by America’s Servicing Company.

Why is this division of Wells Fargo called America’s Servicing Company?
America’s Servicing Company is the generic label used for this business because some of our competitors do not want the Wells Fargo name associated with their loans. These people are hounding me day and night.  I've asked them to quit calling/take me off their list.  When I don't answer they don't leave a message.  I have never had a loan with them.  
I've reported them to the National Do Not Call registry.
They should be prosecuted!

The left a message on my door asking me to call Wells Fargo at this number.  I do not know who it was but the number does not belong to Wells Fargo.  The note said they were a home inspection company.

About every two weeks an older gentleman leaves an envelope on our door with a slip of paper inside. It said it was "Confidential for" my landlady, who does not live here. It gives this phone number and states it is the "Bank phone number." The statement itself says, "An independent property inspector visited your property today. The purpose of this visit was to determine the occupancy and security condition of your property. This inspection is permitted under your security instrument. It is important that you contact your mortgage company to discuss your account." Then it says, "Wells Fargo Bank."  I contacted my landlady the first time this happened and she said her mortgage is not with Wells Fargo Bank. I consider this harrassment. I am uncomfortable knowing this man is at the house when I'm not home. And if I am home, he still just leaves it on the door. He came today and my 3 dogs met him at the door. When I spoke with him he basically recited the message.
