Had my number, and was calling for two weeks, each 2-3 days.
When the automated system called for about the eighth time, I answered.
The message said, in part: "... reduce payments ... your home morgage ...

If you would like to take advantage of this offer, please press 1."
DO NOT HANG UP.  Press one.
"transcom-data-corp" automated system answers.
The menu has an option: "... to be removed from our list." SELECT it.
The next menu has two options: (1) "... to be removed by check number."
OR (2) "... to be removed by phone number."
They have your number, and will repeat it to you.
(1) for YES
(2) for NO
Press 1.
The voice says, "... removed from our list ...."

After this goes through, they are not allowed to call back.
