Left a message with a caller saying he is calling from Bank of America regarding my credit card balance. Said that a payment needs to be made, and asked to call back at 800-664-9089. I called the phone number on the back of my card, and BOA told that they never called... I don't know if the call was a fraud...

I received the same message from the same phone number.. however i did not call it back because well it is a weird number and just sounded kind  of hoaxy. I ve had BOA call me and they never have a a number or leave a message. They always call from an unknown scource.

This is a company called Card Services and they are bill collectors for Bank of America.

They call every day asking for some unknown person.  Told them we don't know this person, but they keep calling. Asked them not to call but they call everyday.  They left a message one day and said Cardservices and gave phone number that just rings busy when you call.  

They have called over 16 times asking for James McCoy (wrong person).  Does not respond to request for do not call list, wrong number, or wrong person.  Use fake names like Tonya and Aurora. Employees fail to provide comapny or employee identifcation #s. Have filled over 6 complaints on "Do Not Call" registry and will continue to do so.

Someone called from this number and kept on harassing me for days, even when I had settled my debt with BOA. The most infuriating fact is that the calls did not stop even when I reported it to BOA.

I have been called for weeks now for a caller id unknown. At times I have answered it, most times I've ignored it. Today was the first day this number appeared. I have setted my account with BofA and so don't understand why I keep getting these calls.

I have been recieving phone calls from 1-800-665-9089.
After the answermachine came on, it was a woman, said her name is Kate.
Will not stop calling. Calls a dozen times a day! I have an unlisted house number that is mearly four monts old.

This number 1-800-665-9089 keeps calling my house at least a dozen times a day. When I anser it hangs up. Today I hit redial, and the message came on...Kate. She has called me OVER TWENTY times today!!!!  Will never talk, always hangs up!

Yesterday, within a three hour span, I was called by this number 7 times.  The number callled is my work number - and I've just let it go to voicemail - where no message is ever left.

I keep getting calls from this number.  It's always a male who identifies himself as card services. I asked him if he were a solicitor or telemarketer, he said, "no" He always asks to speak to my husband by name, I advised him that I was his wife, he then asked for my name, and to verify if my husband and I reside in the same household.  When I refused to give additional information without an explaination from him about the nature of the call.  He placed me on hold, and then said he could not release any additonal info. to me.  I angrily advised him not to call me again, and he said he will continue to call, unless I gave him an alternate number to contact my husband.  I am ticked off that he's able to continue to call me. This is harrassment, how can I report it?

Yeah they called me for a late pay and the message was like 1 min of some crappy music. So I *67 them and called the # back, guy answered and said its card services on behalf of BOA. I said wrong number then I hung up, like 2 sec later the phone I used to call them on starting ringing. Hmmmm In our area the *67 plus number is suppose to block the caller from seeing your number. I declined to answer the phone just in case!

Either turn off your phone for a day or let all your friends and family know first then hook a fax machine to always pick up on first ring and set it like that all day. But for Telemarketers can go to this website and read first   https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx  and or call 1-888-382-1222 this should end the calls for good.

Called me 81 times in 3 days and caller refused to identify company other than a vague "card services."  Have repeatedly asked that they refrain from calling me.  They apparently will not.  Thus, I will pass this number to all of my friends, asking that they continue to call 800 665-9089 and just say they are calling for nothing -- just returning the favor.

These guys keep calling me after I tell them I'm NOT "Billy Smith" and that they in fact are calling a number in Canada. For proof I told them to call Telus Canada to check. Either these people are too lazy to check or they have problems understanding "Canadian...Eh?"

Calls daily from the call center for Bank of America looking for Mindy and we have repeatedly told them we don't know this person and please remove our phone number from their call list.  I was told by the call center that it would take 24 hours for our number to be removed from their lists.  We will see if the calls stop tomorrow.  There has to be a more effective way of tracking down people that have not paid their bills instead of harrassing innocent people.  I just called the 1-888-382-1222 number provided in a previous message, anticipate that this will take care of the problem.

These people are calling my house dozens of times a day - literally! They refuse to leave a message and when we've answered the phone, there's no one there! Even when we've held on for a minute or more!! One evening about three weeks ago I answered and after a minute or so a man came on the line asking for my husband. When I asked who was calling he said "Card Services" and I said "For who?" He refused to tell me and said he would only speak to my husband but when my husband got on the line, he hung up!

A few minutes ago, received the FOURTH call of this morning and the woman one the phone did the same thing. When I said that he was not available she said that they would continue to call until they got him. I asked about when they DID have him on the phone and she said "It must be a bad connection" and hung up.

I called the number back and they wanted all of my vital information in order to 'service' my account! I'm not going to hand them name, phone number, address and information if they don't have caller ID.

If someone hasn't paid their bills, wouldn't you think TELLING THEM WHAT BILL IT IS OR LEAVING A MESSAAGE would be appropriate to get that taken care of? As of this point, we don't even know what bill they're talking about! And they won't tell us!

These people just called here asking for my son who moved a year ago and doesn't use this as his home number obviously.  They said the name of the company was Cardservices and by Federal Law they could not disclose and what kind of a company it was. I spoke with a manger named John and he gave me this number. he said the same thing which seemed totally like a red flag.  I couldn't find any thing about that company on line.  But did find this site through the phone number.

Calls started about a week ago. 4-6 per day now. When I answer the phone there is no response.  If this is Bank of America I'm not surprised. One of the sleaziest companies with a long history of poor management, irrational behavior and strong arm tactics. My advice, if you have them, cancel your BOA credit cards and close your BOA checking accounts.

Thank everyone for their GOOD advice...I receive an average of 5 calls a day for the last 2 mths from this 800 #. I have told them a million times there is NO Monique here. So I took the advice I found here and now, I call them 10 times a day & ask for Monique...when I explain I'm giving them the same "friendly" calls they give me...they hang up. Fight fire with fire.
