This company is called The Boulevard Entertainment Co. (TBE) from Los Angeles, CA. The company is a phone sex company. The company will call you directly if you have made phone calls in the past and haven't made any calls in the recent weeks or months or so. They want business from you. Don't fall into that rut!

It was a recording. Very pleasant lady with nice things to say. Said for me to call back.

There were charges from this company on my husbands credit card so I did some research;It says Tbe on the statement; I just dont know if I should figure its a scam or he is calling them.

Call 18002113152 to ask them to stop calling.

Not that I know of, with the exception of asking them of course.  There are so many ways for telemarketers, even these "people", to glean phone numbers that it's virtually impossible to keep a number private these days.  Time magazine did an article on this.  Here's the link and think about getting a call blocker or downloading a good call blocking app.  Cheers. :-)
