Special Olympics fundraising

This is Special Olympics. You can call 866-544-4880 and ask them to remove your number from thier call list, otherwise they call daily and there is no message.

Claim to be Special Olympics, but number comes up as "Unknown" on caller ID.

Since the holiday season I have been getting phone calls from various toll free numbers all of which are scams. I am registered on the no call list and can see another reason where our Federal Government cannot do its job. Something as simple as this and still I get scam calls.
Special Olympics fund raiser or not has no right to disturb me.

Call the SPECIAL OLYMPICS at 866-544-4880. Ask them to remove your telephone number from this (and, if inclined, all future) fundraising campaigns.

Even though my number is registered on the DO NOT CALL list I continue to receive calls from unidentified toll free numbers 800-669-3718 was one more of those, on answering I could only hear breathing then the callet hungup! Guess that the DO NOT CALL doesn't do much to stop them.

I called the 866-544-4880 # just now and asked them to remove my name (is their customer svc #), and they said it would be effective in 2-3 business days.  Haleleuia!  One 800 down, about 150 more to go!

Just got a call no message.

I received a call from them this afternoon. When I answered hello a woman said, "Hi there how are you doing?" to which I responded, "it depends...who are you?" She then began her sales pitch that she was with Special Olympics and this call was to request a donation. I politely told her that I do not give donations over the phone especially to someone who has called me instead of me calling them. I  then hung up.

It took a little to get a lovely "Chatty Cathy" to let me know she's calling for Special Olympics, great cause. As nice as she was it was hard to get her off the phone.
No I didNot buy anything.
