Robo caller left a message on my machine saying all my Microsoft devises were going to shut down at the end of the day unless I called their number. Not only do we not have any Microsoft devises but this must be one of the most publicized scams out there.

I got a robo call from this number that my MS windows expires today.  Did nothing. Do nothing

Bogus robo-call from Microsoft stating my system would no longer work after today unless I call them back right away.

Like several other commenters, I have no Microsoft devices or programs, as my computers are all Apples running Apple software. I have received this same call several times over the past few months. What I can't understand is why such obvious scams as this one are allowed to continue without criminal prosecution.

Oh, so you know both who and where these scammers are? See, that's vital information needed when one wants to arrest and prosecute someone. But since these are scammers (likely overseas) spoofing this number, arresting and prosecuting them isn't going to happen.
