Apparently when you call them back it gives you the option to enter your 10 digit number to be removed from their databank.

I've had this phone for 2 days and no one but me has this number yet. It leads me to believe that Virgin Mobile sells their numbers since they are the only other one that has my number.

If they call me again I will be having a word with Virgin Mobile.

James is right, after getting the number and googling it, it gives you the option to have it removed.

I got this call too... pees me right off... so tired of getting these calls. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...

I had a long voicemail to text message on my cell phone asking for my home phone and telling me to press a certain number to be reimbursed for the call to my cell.
The only thing I'm pressing is "delete"

I received a recorded voice survey in french and like others I also was told to press a certain number to be reimbursed, it closed the call when pressing 3.

I'm with rogers and I just got one..

I live in Halifax, got a call from this # on my cell (which almost nobody has!) which I did NOT answer - no VM. I am with Telus and have never lived in Gatineau.  Where are they getting these #'s?

Live in Halifax. Just got the call . . . call back and get them to delete your number off their "calling list". Just did it, fingers crossed. HATE these calls!

Received an unwanted phone call from them on my cell phone.

Just got a phone call from this number on my cell (which almost nobody but family has since it's for emergency purpose only !). I did not answer neither even got time to attempt answering since they hanged after only one ring. Just enough to annoy me and disturb me while at work, grrrr...

Just got a call and a really long voicemail that I deleted after 30 seconds. Seems like a survey. If they call back again I'll answer and ask to be taken off the list. Annoying! By the way, I'm with Rogers.

This just called mine, I'm with FIDO. Didn't answer, so far - no voice mail.

I just received this call too - completing a survey from Gatineau.  I'm with Rogers - don't know how they secured my cell number.

Regardless....added to the "reject" list...it's all about the reject list.

I received a call just now from this number, I'm with Rogers and live in Waterloo. I didn't pick up and they didn't leave a voicemail. I make it a point not to answer 1800 numbers or calls from area codes I don't recognize. Most legit companies have their numbers registered and my call ID will usually show up with a name so if I'm not expecting a call I'm not wasting my time answering. They can leave a msg if it's important

I just received a call from this number too, and I did not answer it. I have received a number of calls in the last few months of this nature, all with the same type of numbers as this one.
That is to say they were all unsolicited, all from unknown sources, and all listed on the internet as annoyances.
