They called in the afternoon at 2 and I never answered. They didn't leave a message, nor have they called back.

got a call today on it, didn't answer but called back saying it was a telemarketing call and to press 1 to be put on no call list, 2 to listen to stupid message. pressed 1.

Oil Express uses this number to remind you that your vehicle is due for an oil change or to thank you for your business. It's obviously a company that businesses use for solicitations, etc.

I have been getting calls from this number for the past 6 months.  Most of the time the call comes in the middle of the night when I'm half asleep and its a recording saying "Emergency, Emergency...your house is on fire."  How can I get these calls to stop? When I tried calling the number back the recording says "You have received a call from Envircom Fire Emergency System, we do not reccommend you removing your phone number from this list." And it hangs up.

I got a call from this number at 10 a.m this morning and I did not answer it.  No message was left but I did return the call just because I was curious.  It said it was from a Profit or Non-profit organization and that if I wanted to be on the "Do not call list" I had to press 1 or if I did want to be on the "OK to call list" to press 2.  I pressed 1 and hung up.  I wonder what this is!!!  And I wonder if I made a mistake by calling them and pressing one!! Anyone have any info??

I had a missed call from this number and I google searched it because I didn't recognize it. I found this site and so I decided to call it back from another number. When I did it was a recording saying "this is the DNC list, the do not call list" and it asked me to enter my phone number, but I didn't because it creeped me out. Just delete this number if it calls you, and don't bother calling back.

Got a call at 5pm.  They left a short automated message stating that they were calling regarding a recent home delivery.  I assumed it was from Lowe's Home Improvement since they just delivered a massive order to my house.  When I called the number back (800-679-0847) a message stated that I received a call from a non-profit agency, and that if I wished to be removed from the call list I should press 1.  I didn't and just hung up.

I got this call(800-679-0847) at 5:35 pm on 05/20/2008. I use a cell phone with an address book so I now who is calling me, if the number is not on my address book list  I'll search the web and read up on the history of the number.

If you get 800 numbers or calls from some number that is not in your area code it is probably spam.

I left a feedback at Pizza Hut's website about how they needed to improve their online ordering process; and how it compares to Papa John's and Domino's. I had good intentions. Instead some idiot there took my number and threw it into their stupid telephone ad system. Are there any grown ups working there? LoL. IGNORE CALL.

I just got a call from this number. It was a prerecorded message from the manager of an auto lube/carwash place I went to a couple months ago, reminding me that I am due for an oil change. Also mentioned that if I use the manager's name, I get $7 off a car wash.

Called cell didn't leave message

on Aug 28th,2008 recevied phone call fro 800-679-0847.  I answered, said hello 2 times no one on the other end.

I didnt answer the call but if its a joke or someone being nasty then I do want it to stop. I'm grown. I'm not about games.

1-800-679-0847 showed on my work phone caller id, it was a recording from the DTC Dallas Theater Center, in the uptown area in dallas, reminding us of the play "The Who's Tommy".... letting us know of the date and time, left the phone humber 214.522.8499 for details.... I personally don't go to plays, but my boss does when she's not traveling....

It was a political canidate running for some local office in Palm Beach, FL asking for support, and stating some crap about how my vote might not count... I deleted it before listening to the whole message.  NOT in the mood.  I already voted- don't need to hear more whining.  GO BARACK!!!

I got this call and message said it was Pizza Hut.  Advertising for Manager's special.  Then gave the local Pizza Hut phone number, which was correct number
