Automated calling system asking me to confirm my appointment with Comcast.

Comcast calling to confirm service appointment.  You can call the number back and it will take you into automated system to confirm your appointment.

I never answer toll-free numbers and always google any that wont leave a voicemail telling me who they are, etc. I'm writing to confirm that what Hobie and CSC said is true, it is Comcast. Thanks to CSC's comment, I called it back and it was an automated system, it recognized my number, and asked for confirmation for tomorrow's appointment.

Wife got a call from this number. only problem is we don't have an appointment with Comcast

They claimed the call was from comcast and wanted to confirm the appointment. They had the correct appointment time.Looks genuine.

This # is safe to call back. It is from Comcast to confirm your appointment.

This is Comcast.  I have an appointment tomorrow and they were calling to confirm.  I called them back and was able to confirm my appointment.

They called and left a message. They are confirming an appointment for an appointment I never made. Scam!!

Lady was very rude. Yelled at me and said a representative is coming over regardless of what I said. I warned her, they will be met with local authorities.

Do not return this call, especially if you do not have an account with Comcast.  This was the advice given to me by the Customer Assurance Security Fraud Department for Comcast out if Cherry Hill, NJ.  The agent said that this was not a Comcast number.

This number called and texted a phone number  associated with my Comcast account. Said I had a schedule appointment. I didn’t call back and would recommend not calling back. I would suggest calling Comcast main number (1800COMCAST) to confirm if you have an appointment rather than calling this number.
