800-688-4490

NCO Financial calls me on my cell from 410-986-0085 and tells me to call them back at 1-800-688-4490 about a debt collection issue. I don't owe any debts for which I am not paying, so I have not called them back.

Said she was calling from a debt collection company ref: 9999999, a Ms. Williams.  Kicker was that she used the wrong name!  Hahahahahahahahahaha!

I keep getting harrased they leave me a message when i dont pick up and when i call i never get thru.. all i hear is 'please hold blah blah' and it repeats forever.. its soo annoying.. lol

i keep getting call from this number too and i dont hear anything.  they are so annoying!!!! and that lady who calls just says her name and to plz call her back

Just received a call from 800-688-4490 telling me it was regarding a debt collection and to call them today and ask for Joel Howl (not sure of the spelling).  Identified the company as NCO Financial when I called back.  I have NO issue with my financials (credit score is right at 800).

If you are are so debt free why are you on this site and why do you care? Must not be so free as you want anyone to think.

Well, if all your debts are paid and you are perfect do you make a living giving others a hard time or do you work for the company?

I get calls from this number everyday and the recording always asks me to call Joe Hal back lol.  I don't have any debt, so I'm sure it's a scam of some sort.  Sure wish there was a way to block that number.  They call at all hours and 7 days a week.

We have received a recorded message from this 800 688-4490 number 3 times already and they tell us to contact a Joel Howell. Caller ID. appears to be from 888 713-4311. As you already know, they don't mention who the person is they are seeking and they only state the purpose of calling you. To collect a debt. No one living here has any debt and hope they catch this scammer soon.

These a**h**s....they call all the time...as soon as I pick up they hang up! wtf! chicken s**ts.no idea wtf
but if they want psychotic...they got me!!! let 'em come to my door...I'll invite them! the stress of this crap is causing my heart to act up again...and if it causes extreme conditions...THEY will be the ones paying I am 60yrs old, heart condition....alot of stress as most in this country...wtf

What is this nuisance call.

I got two calls today - regarding debt collection - one wanted me to call back - which I did not.
On the second call, they said they were from the State of Maryland and I owed them over $13K of back state taxes.

I have never lived in Maryland and told them so.
Then he wanted my last 4 digits of my SSN, which I refused to give.
I asked them for the 4 numbers they had on file and instead they wanted my first 3 digits of my SSN berfore they would give me the last 4 digits to verify.

This appears to be a identity theft ring seeking information from unsuspecting people.
