That number has been disconnected.

They say 'Microsoft License Support' When you call, maybe Microsoft would like to know.  Scumbags - blocked!!

same exact message as noted above - they called us 6/7/17 at around 10:30am. I told my wife to do nothing - COAs don't expire!

Same message from a robotic voice.  When I called I was told my Microsoft 10 version was expired, after asking which version they had on file for me (I didn't provide any personal information).  Really.... First, I don't have 10 installed; secondly, 10 is the most current version.  Nice try.

I got the same call today at about 10:39AM from 800-794-1970 and asked me to call back 800-691-2416. What a scam!!!

I received a message that my Microsoft license has expired. Emergency.

Call -message left today 6-12-17 that said emergency because my microsoft license expired and to call 1-800-691-2416.     It sounded fishy, so looked up on google. and found several sites that it is SCAM!!!

Same as others here... an automated female voice stating "This is an emergency call to advise that the licence key to your MS Windows has expired.  To renew call 1-800-691-2416."  As other posts note, this is a scam... MS' license keys are purchased with the software and don't expire.

Caller left message saying this is an emergency your microsoft has expired.  Shame on them for misrepresenting Microsoft to small businesses, especially one who helps children.  Caller ID showed 800-794-1970 but message said to call 800-691-2416

Caller said that this was an emergency and thart my Microsoft Windows 10 had expired and my account was cancelled. Callers left phone number 800 691 2416 to call, but the caller called from  800 7941970.

It's a scam.  I've been prank calling them for the past 2 hours from different numbers.  Guy on the phone outright admitted he was going to take all my money.

Scam Call: Computer voice, saying urgent call (message left on 13 Jun 2017), that license key for Microsoft "something" was expiring and to call 800-691-2416 to renew. The calling number according to CID was 800-794-1970.  Ummm... not even a realistic psuedo-excuse!! Unfortunately, there will be some people who will think this is a legit call. I do not think license keys expire as long as a person still owns the hardware and software ... there may no longer be support or updates, but the license key does not expire.
