Called at 12:55 pm today (May 25, '17), claimed an "emergency" and my "Microsoft Windows license" had expired--and I was supposed to call some 800 number to resolve the problem.  JUST IMAGINE a single 800 number trying to handle millions of incoming VOICE calls!  What a volcanic mess for everyone!!!!

I just got a ROBO call stating that it was Microsoft stating that all my licenses from Microsoft have expired and I should call 800-691-2802 to reinstall them. Boy these Scammers don't give up for anything..ANd to top it was a very poor quality Robo Message, was almost as good as The IRS telling me the police were coming to get me...

Gee, it's highly unlikely that Microsoft would call me that my license has expired and to call back as I had only left an email address when I needed to register its products the past 15 years.  Yes, probably a scam call.

Received call and wanted me to run a msconfig on my computer, said well I have 5 computers which one is expiring, they gave me an IP address, asked for ID and gave me 110430. Told him I would call Microsoft and ask for him and he said "OK" - scam I am sure since again these licenses don't expire but they are fairly good and thankfully I work in IT.

    (800) 691-2802 called.  Their message was cut off because it was not a real person.  They probably started playing their recording before my phone was ready to listen to them.  It was something about Microsoft Windows that may have stopped.  We do not use Microsoft Windows.  There is no need to hear from them or to call them.  Seems fraudulent.

Had the same message in my voice mail. When I called back someone answers in a foreign accent "this is Microsoft how can I help you". I asked "who are you ?"  Then there was a king pass then "this is Microsoft technical help line. How can I help?"

Called my home number. Called ID says "Unavailable" with the phone number 1-800-691-2802. Automated message with an unusual computer voice. "This is an emergency message from Microsoft. Your [pause] Windows Licence [pause] has expired. Please call [a number I can't remember] to reactivate it." There was a lot of silence at the end, so I don't know if the recording would have hung up on it's own or not, I hung up myself.
