That makes no sense - they called spoofing your own number but you show the same 800 number that many of us have received calls from?

They continually call my elderly parents from 8am till after 9pm daily even after I asked them to stop. There were 17 calls one day before 2pm. My parents may even had an account but I know for a fact that they asked them to not call again a

Since this is an original creditor they do not have to follow Federal collection laws.  Only 5 states have laws that cover original creditors.  Simply "asking" them not to call will not work.  The first thing you need to determine is whether they have an account and whether the payments are behind.  If the payments are behind then you need to handle that.  If they never had an account, then you will need to send Comenity a certified, return receipt "not me" letter.  After that you can probably sue them but you will need to consult a consumer attorney.

I didn't answer because caller id said unknown name but only gave me a phone number. If your name does not show up don't expect a call from me. If a namd shows up i don't recognize, don't expect a call from me either. No name, no call. Unknown name, no call. I don't have the time or patience to look up every number that pops up without a name showing up automatically. 99.9%  of the time you cannot even find a name to a number without having to pay for a subscription to one of the number lookup apps. Rediculous!!

This is happening to me.  Use multiple numbers from several states in the west from Comenty bank.  .  I blocked the numders now they use privarte numbers.  Tryiung to extort money from me.  My Peebles account is paid out.  When I told them to close the account. They started charging late fees on  a zero balance.  When I tried to correct the lady hung up on me and continues to call all day every day from 8 am to 9 pm like a psycho yelling on the phone when I answer and put the phone aside calling out my first name. I have told this lady to stop calling me.  Trying to extort money during a pandemic. She never leaves a message.

Pond scum at this # called our landline at 9:00 AM on a Sunday. It left a "voice mail" of some elevator music! Caller ID said "Toll Free". Crime here somewhere!

Constant calls from unknown, unsolicited caller, I don't answer unknown numbers & block them. They keep calling & will use different numbers from different states.

Calling for someone I've never heard of (dozens of calls), insisting they've reached her at this number before. I've had this number for over ten years. Idiots.
