They keep calling and I don't answer

Comenity Bank debt collector.

They called 15-20 times a day.... I don’t answer....

We were discharged from bankruptcy and they call me 20 times a day 7:30 in the morning til 9 at night.

Call your Bankruptcy Attorney and report it to them. If they are trying to collect on something that was included in your bankruptcy, they might be in violation of bankruptcy laws.

There is no "might" about it, they are in violation of the US Bankruptcy Code.

Multiple calls from this number. A recording is trying to reach someone named Victoria about her Lane Bryant account. I don't know Victoria, nor do I have a Lane Bryant card. I do have another store card through Comenity so I contacted them and verified that my account is clear. The customer service representative said there are no other names associated with my phone number. Makes me suspicious.

Receiving calls from various numbers including this one all from people claiming to be 'representing Comenity Bank' (when they rarely leave a message) which is not the same as identifying as debt collectors which is required by law. They are looking for someone who is not at our house. When checking with Pottery Barn card, they had our number on someone else's account. They said they had fixed it, and the calling hasn't stopped. We don't answer. I contacted Pottery Barn again and told them to fix this.

They keep calling and asking for someone I don’t know, claiming to be a bank. I don’t answer but they keep leaving messages. They call constantly.

WON'T STOP CALLING-BOGUS-VERY ANNOYING

They keep calling claiming to be from Comenity bank about a Blair account. I don’t have any such account and don’t know the person they are asking  for. It sounds like a scam to me. I don’t answer but they keep calling and leaving messages.

Well I have no debt or Bill's and still get this message below (copy & pasted)      This is this is Community Bank calling about a change in the status of your Williams sonoma account. It's important that we speak with you in the next 24 hours. Please have Thomas Wilson call us today at 800-695-7444. Again that number is 800-695-7444. Thank you from amenity Bank.

I simply don't answer!! Period!!!

And Thomas isn't my name!!!

Had you read the other posts you would have known the correct name of the bank.  Using that, you can easily find them on the internet to send them a "not me" letter, preferably by certified, return receipt mail.

It's a scam. they keep calling for Norma Sutton. never heard of her or Comenity commie bank

They call and don't leave a message and call 10 times a day. They start at 8am in morning and keep going. I listed my number on do not call, but that doesn't seem to be working. I wish I knew what to do next?! I am so tried of this nonsense.

Repeated calls early in the morning. Leaves a message 'tone' and nothing else on my answering machine. Blocked but my phone rings once every time they call.

Cunning, local news warned scammers may use your personal phone number + name to call you -YES, just got a call from my own number!  Answered it, no reply. BLocked immediately! Beware, Becareful.

Idiot left a message using the wrong name, saying that dire awful things will happen if I don't call back to clear things up. Aggressive scam sum.
