Claiming to be chase wanting to steal personal info

This number is traced back to Bank One in Texas. Bank One Corporation merged with JPMorgan Chase & Co. on July 1, 2004. The address traced with this number shows an actual Chase Bank in a Google street view.

Now while this number is indeed a Chase owned number, it does not validate a caller will be from Chase. Scammers can find out as easily as I did that its a legitimate Bank number and they LOVE to spoof Bank numbers to trick people into giving them money or personal info they use to steal your money.

If your a Chase customer, call YOUR local Branch or number on your card to see if they called..

I wanted to purchase a dress from Aliexpress.com for my daughter prom and it sent a message stating I had to call this number 800-695-1111 for further verification from my bank

Just like to see your name in print or do you have something to share?

800-695-1111 is it a fake chase number ?

Did it work ? Or did they scam you ? Because same story with me

i also got this pop up at the end of a purchase i made from sears!! saying to call my bank at that number so they can verify it. seemed fishy to me so as i was on the phone i googled the number and found a few sites like these saying they were stealing info.I hung up in the middle of the call once i read yours.

cant edit my last comment so heres a new one: i called chase with the number i also do with banking issues and they told me the number is theirs and they directed me back to the number.
