4th time have called, leave no message

I have also gotten calls from this number with no message left.  I have received 5 calls in the last 4 days from them.  Annoyed, I tried to locate who was calling from this number by doing multiple reverse-phone-number searches.  No luck finding any results, so I just called the number back......the person answered the phone with "local yellow page listing dot com".  Appears this is a solicitation call from a call center (heard lots of call center noise in background)to get you to sign up for their internet yellow pages service.

I have received 6 phone calls in the past week.  I called the number back and was told they were the yellow pages on line.  I told them to remove my number from their call list and I have received 4 phone calls since that time.  Twice yesterday and twice today.  I will be reporting them.

When I returned this call they said. Local yellowpage listing. They call me multiple times during the day and do not ever leave a message.

Returned call to them today - used star67, but they still knew my
number. Asked again, "sincerely, please no more calls."

They call twice a day and ask for different name each time (not any of ours). On 5/8 they asked for a design company. ANNOYED!!

Several calls per day over past several weeks—ans. machine not on, so no message left, but caller ID rats them out of course.
Calls in the evening arrive @ the same time, so when I’m starved for entertainment, I pick up phone, say nothing, let MY background noise (TV, volume turned up) entertain them until someone speaks. I have issues with phone courtesy to begin with, such as, when YOU call ME, you ID yourself FIRST, then ask for the person you’re calling. When they ask for “[whoever]”—it’s been different every time, I ask “Who’s calling? What’s this in reference to?” and based on as much of the language as I could understand confirmed that this was also from some sort of Yellow Page service. They ask me questions (“Is this [name of person, company]?”), I stonewall them, and just broken record “You’ve got the wrong number” they ask if this is a business, I reply “You’ve got the wrong number…” and so it goes until they hang up.
OK. I have no life, but I’m wasting their time. Yippee. Eventually I’ll get bored and tell them to knock it off then report them.
Sometimes I will tell callers not to call back again, and give them the warning that if they do, I will consider it threatening, harassing, and possibly obscene and tell them that I have a police whistle on hand, “the better to deafen you my dear”… and I WILL use it. Hey. I warned them.

This # calls 2-3 times a day. "Free" yellow page ad that will be billed to your monthly phone service. On do not call list and have requested several times they take # off their calling list. My call blocking is not working and Verizon refused to block # for me. I have contacted Do Not Call Registry and FCC.

For the past 3 weeks, they have called 2 times a day (except weekends).  They never leave a message.  I am also on the Do Not Call list and find this very annoying.  Are they really from the yellow pages or are they just spoofing us?  What is their purpose?

They've called us twice today...on our fax line. Sucks to be them, really...they get to enjoy a very loud obnoxious noise in their ears.

Caller has called many times and hung up. I suspect them to be solicitors. I have had may calls from yellow pages solicitors lately.

they call throughout the day, i see # on caller ID, and they HANG UP... i call back (on different "blocked" line, tho seems they can id it anyway) saying they are some "Yellow Pages" wanting to update my business call.
 I want to tell them to STOP CALLING, yet i am afraid to tell them my phone number for fear that will verify the number and they will attack me even more.
  Isn't there SOME WAY OF BLOCKING THESE AND OTHER CALLS ?   Like blocking junk email?  I tried Verizon phone customer service but they hve no IQ.  I do report frequently to www.donotcall.com  but doesn't seem to work.

They call and ask to speak to a business owner or manager.  I talked them a month ago...they wanted to update our local yellow page listing for FREE (yeah, right).  I told them time and time again I was not interested.  Now they called back asking for someone else.  He was not in and they wanted to know when to call him back.  I told them not to call that he would call them back if he was interested.  The called twice today already.

I have been getting numerous calls from them and a whole lot of other of these crooks. I don't answer the phone. Everyone complains that they answer and there is no one on the line - they just hang up. That is because that there is no one on the line. It is a robo-call. A computer is calling you to see if you answer the phone. It hangs up on the 4th ring so answer machines don't pick up. It doesn't cost them a penny to do this. It keeps track of when you answer the phone and generates a database of the best times you will be home so one of their live spokeshole phone [***] can call and harass you. I have sent numerous complaints to the FCC and they are totally worthless - a bunch of federal employees sitting around doing nothing but collecting a paycheck and waiting to retire on their fat pensions. What you want to do is share your grief with someone - like your U.S. senators and congressmen. Next time I get a call from one on these pond scum maggots, I will be calling my CA senators, Diane "The Curse of the White Pearls" Feinstein, and Barbara Boxer. Tell your senator's intern who answers the phone that you are being harassed by these solicitors and that the FCC will not take action. Tell them that you will be calling them every time you get a call from a scammer and waste their time until the senator takes action to get the FCC to move their federal ass.

Opps!!! My Bad. I meant the FTC, not the FCC. I am sure the FCC is a fine government agency.

I got a call on my cell phone from this number: 800-695-5421 and looked up your background.  I called it back to see what is was. They said I had a listing on the yellow pages and since it was getting clicks, they wanted to make sure I renewed it.  Well, since I DON'T have a business, I told them that wasn't possible...   They asked for the phone number to check their records.  When they didn't find the number in their records (but they just CALLED ME!), they tried to get me to give them my home number, or a different phone number.  I wasn't about to do that.  The person went round and round..... I told them not to call me again, to ever use my phone number; they said they could never have called and would never again, because the number wasn't in their system.....

i just got a call from the same # .. i called them back qand told them remove my # from there calling list and if they call again there going to get a big o bit of me... not what they  want.

about an hour earlier got a call from 313 491 1339 regarding verifying information for your free yellow pages listing. Not knowing who they are I did verify anything. then an hour later this call comes in from 800 695 5421 wanting to verify information.
