someone named "matt" called my place of work and asked for me personally. when asked if it was business or personal, he said "It's personal business". when i called back it asked me to put in my account number and then asked for my social security number. this is highly suspect.

my sister called me today saying that I have rec'd 4 phone calls from the same woman and my sister has informed her each time that i have not lived there in 2 years (which i haven't). the woman informed my sister that it is a personal matter and they are following up on a request by me. NOT! the woman says she's from World Financial Bank. when i called the number back, same thing, there is no mention of the name of the company, asks to enter in account number and if no account number, then enter in SS#. that is when i hung up. NO WAY!

I got a phone call from the 800-695-7020 number today 12-9-07. They asked for my daughter who moved out 2 years ago. I would not give them her new number but asked for theirs. No mention of a company just that her name was "Sandi" and she would not say why she was calling. Just it was a business matter.

Sorry I looked at my caller id and the # was 303-255-5025. The # I was told to call was 800-695-7020.

Same deal. Calls 5-10 times a day with numerous numbers on caller Id. When I pick up to confront them - they say from World National bank and give the 800-695-7020 number to call back - put in a fake ssn and call went thru - person answered with foreign accent asking for account number. I hung up.  No World National Bank comes up on search engine! Beware!! Have reported the numbers to the DNC Registry.

hi,friends, i just got the call from 303-255-5104 at 8:30am this morning, a woman said i need to pay for my check for 71 dollars. She know the last four digit of my check number.I dont know how she knew. Then she asked my mailing address, and asked me called 800-695-7020. I called and was asked to press the last four digit of my SSN.I Do suspect she is a cheater! I just told her mailing address, but dont know how she know the last 4 digit of my check number. Hope she can get nothing from the information i offered, i mean mainling address. Thanks!!

Got a missed call from this number, once I called back, I got a recording: "We have located your account information according to the number you're calling from, please enter the last 4 digits of your social security number."
Yeah, right, look for the next sucka!

Called them on Skype. They asked for SSN 999-99-9999 last 4 digits 9999. It was incorrect - entered again. Some guy answered I think he said Brownes Financial. Idk. Really Strange. BS.

World Financial Bank is a credit card authorized from Victoria Secrets

I thought it was bizarre that it didn't give a company name when I called the number, but I typed in a fake SSN and got to a representative for World Financial Bank.  She asked for information but I told her I wasn't going to give her my SSN because I was weirded out.  She asked me to verify my phone number instead and address and it was in fact World Financial Bank.  I even called the WFB number off of the Victoria's Secret website to verify that I had made a payment earlier and they confirmed it.  So, it's legitimate, but maybe call the number on the website back instead of calling this one if it makes you feel more comfortable.

18006957020 is a fake number - - they called me private, then wanted my social security number -- are they crazy? Yeah right!!!!! I am going to notify the proper authorities on them...

Received a call from this number when I wasn't at home! Someone took the message, the woman said she cannot give any information! ONly could give her number and that I initiated the call and would know what it was about. SO not having a clue I called the number which didn't have a company name, just asked for your acount number which of course I do not have, or social Security number. Then I waited and pressed 0 waiting for more options and of course no more! SCAM!!!

Recorded message from a woman with a british accent saying she is calling from World Wide Financial Network regarding a credit card and to call 800-695-7020.  If you call the number, it asks you to put in your credit card account number.  If you don't put it in, then it asks for your social security number.

I just got a call from a blocked number, the voicemail told me to call 1-800-695-7020.  I googled it because only part of the message was recorded on my voicmeail and it did not give a business name. Some websites said it was linked to or a scam associated with the Victoria's Secret card, which I do have and I just called VS yesterday, actually.  When you call the 7020 number...the same voice answers and says "Welcome to our automated system!"  Then asks for the last 4 digits of your SSN and your account number.  I did NOT Put this info in!  The number is also very similar to the VS number which is 1-800-695 -9478. When you call that number, it tells you that it is VS right away.  I'm worried that my info was leaked from VS somehow :(

been recieving calls from the same number for over a week now. I just googled it getting weirded out by it and it said it was some number from Cincinatti Ohio. They called me day and night and now today i get a restricted call and a voicemail stating a number to call and nothing else. which was 8006957020. I don't want to call it back. my mom says to answer it my dad says not to..hmm....weird. I acutally got a call like this minus the restricted part last year around christmas i called back and they said something about my victoria secret bill and that my payment was late or something....I can't figure out why they wouldn't just say who they are so i'm not sure if it's a scam or not.

Same as everyone else...message left with just number, no name.  Called it back and they asked for my SS.  Hopefully others see it as shady before handing out their info!  I have a Victoria's Secret card and I've heard this might be linked to this!  Dec. 23, 2009

I RECEIVED THE PHONE CALL FORM 1-800-695-7020.   I CALLED THEM BACK TO FIND OUT WHAT IS REGARDING, BUT THEY ASK ME 9 DIGIST SS#.  WOW IT SCARED ME. IT SHOW "NO NUMBER" ON MY PHONE.

Received an automated phone message from "World Financial Network National Bank" in regards to Victoria Secret.  They also left the phone number 800-695-7020.  We don't have a credit card with Victoria Secret, nor do we have any outstanding purchases.
