I picked up the phone and it sounded like someone calling from a call center.  When they asked to speak with me using my full name, I asked if they were calling from a call center.  They quickly said "no" then started repeating my name slowly and hung up.  Strange.

Called claiming to be from Southwest Airlines. I hummed along and s/he passed me off to the "manager," who said I sounded young. I told her I was 50. She then went into the spiel about how we're getting not just a ticket for me, but also my significant other, "And I'm sure you have one of those, right, ma'am?"

Whereupon I "burst into tears" (seriously, they should give me a gold statuette) and said "N-no-nooo... he died last week." (He was, naturally sitting right next to me, and cracked up when I told him what happened.)

There was an abrupt CLICK. I doubt they will call me back.

I got a call from this number twice, one was, a guy, the other was a woman. Both said they were working for a Williamsburg resort. I asked how they knew my name, he hung up. The second time, she didn't answer, but complicated my deep voice, so I complimented hers, and asked her to talk dirty because she interrupted my me time. Truth be known, I was trying to teach my rottwieler to sit, I had better luck with them never calling again, then my puppy sitting.

Scammer. Tried to get info, just ignored them until they hung up. Block this number.

Tried to call me at 10:30 on a Sun night???  I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. After seeing the other comments, I've blocked the number.

This call came on my cell on EASTER yesterday.  I see its just another spam/scam call.

800-698-9638 got my number from a craigslist ad I posted. Calls daily never says a damn thing when I answer the phone.

They are scamming people

They've called before, and I've let it ring. No voicemail before. Today I answered.

They claimed to be with Delta Airlines and to have opened a new location in Fort Worth for their travel agency. They also claimed I had won 2 round-trip tickets. I was polite and went along with what they said, claiming to be married. Got on the phone with the manager. She said I sounded young, so I claimed to be a minor. They apologized nicely and hung up.

They ARE SCAMMERS.

I did not answer.  They did not leave a message.  Candidate for blocking.

toll free number calls and on the message I can hear all the accented voices in the background. Blocking number.
