I too, got a call, several with no message left, just hang-ups. I would not put it past DE, to have given my number out as one of the call ins, outraged at their out right theft on the bill cycle scam. ~~ to take care of me....

This is a scam, when I started asking questions the scammer lost this patience and sent me to hell....

Calls over and over and over.. right now it is on call #24 and still going.. very annoying .. I am going to remove my number from my account.. says my bill is viewable online.. really dont need 25 calls to tell me this.. I get notified by email.

They keep calling with an idiotic Telefone if "call before you". I understand it is Duke Energy.. i

Called my place of employment threatening that they were shutting off our power by COB due to non payment.  I told him that was a Corporate account and I would have them Gulf Power directly.  He hung up on me when I said that.  Called Gulf Power and they confirmed it was a scam call.

Called back after I already sent money from a call allegedly from Orlando Utilities. Said my payment should have been twice as much. Scammer

Recieved a call from this number claiming to be Duke Energy.  Said my power would be shut off within the hour if I did not pay in full.  Payment only in cash at certain locations.  I knew it was fraud, I toyed with them, they became very angry and cussed me before hanging up.

My call blockers blocked this
sometimes I will answer just to prank them.

They called again - tried to beat my blocker; but I missed it. I will be faster next time and prank them

Well -- I started to miss them.  Instead of Duke Energy the ID says Progress Energy.
Missed the call (my call blocker stopped it) -- would have been fun to prank them

Caller ID shows “Progress Energy 800-700-8744” on the free VOIP line that came with our cable service about 5 years ago.  Never heard of Progress Energy.  We have had Gulf Power for decades in this area.  There is no Progress Energy in this area.
