They call because they are robodialing everyone.  THERE IS A NEW WRINKLE HERE FOLKS  I heard about it on the news yesterday and it's here.  My cell phone rings for 1/4 ring and says No Caller ID but they get right into my iphone voice mail.
We need to start calling our representatives and tell them to stop taking vacations and start passing some laws that actually do something for us.

Student loan scam. I used fake info trolling them and they say they can fix my (nonexistent) loan for about $500. Used to be mission hills llc.

Rang my cell once from "Unknown"  them left a message about student loan forgiveness

"Please call me back immediately, my number is 760-892-6686.  That's 760-892-6686.  We would love to lock you in the forgiveness program for your loan before it goes away.  Thank you so much and have a blessed day."  Call came in from 800-704-0012.  Blocked the number with Verizon, that is the fifth number I have blocked in the last 2 weeks.  The other four numbers were robo calls that had a message to press 1 to talk to a live representative for "student loans".  I have never had a student loan.  I've put my cell # on the do-not-call list numerous times, it does not stop the unwanted calls.  I dropped my land line because of robo calls, I guess the only way to prevent BS calls is to not have any type of phone.

Scam have no loans

Caller left voicemail and said I owed a student loan but I do not have any student loans. They left a message to call Amanda back at 949-647-4424

I got a similar scam voice mail yesterday and found that the easiest way to tell it's a scam is if you ask for their website and they promptly hang up. I called them back ten times asking for a supervisor or some basic information about their company and was greeted with 'go to hell' and 'stop calling [***]'.

This was a Student Loan Forgiveness scam. But I want to give them some credit... at least they were in the United States!

Claimed to be "student loan advisery" on one line (the 1-800 above) and Performance Financial services on the other (the 760-892 left in the message) hmmmm lol And to top it, there were only 2 voices, 1 per line, that would answer.

Yeah, they do a half ring, and push VM to your phone.  Good thing is that they actually answer both numbers, and get really pissed that you waste their time.  Hide/spoof your own ID & make sure that you ask them all about their services!

Scam about student loans. Calls claiming you have them, then ASKS if you have them if you call back to either number (one called from or one they leave in the message) Called them out as a scam and they called me an idiot.. yeeeah right, I'm totally the idiot here :)

Yeah...interesting folks.  Adam gets angry when you call him out. Has now threatened to send someone to my house to bomb it & my family, and to shoot me.  Called back spoofed after they ramped it up to 5+ calls per day.

Adam told me he was coming to my house with a baseball bat to beat me!!! He's one of my favorite scammers.
