A recording asking to call this number back with a reference number. Maybe a collection agency??

I just moved and have a new phone listing with MANY advertisers calling.  If this were a bona fide business call they would identify themselves.  I am now on the "do not call registry list" but they still call.

Recorded message for someone that does not live at this residence. I'm on both state and federal do nat call lists.

got a call and they left a message for my trailer park mananger???? She has never lived here and they have no reason to have this number...

Received a call from this number when we (my boyfriend and myself) were not home. Renting a condo from a guy so it is not even our place. They left a recorded message giving a reference number and asking to call back.

I've had same number for years.  For weeks, they've left recorded messages for someone I don't know.  Why do so many collection agencies seem to have the wrong number?  And, it doesn't matter if you're on a DO NOT CALL list.  I've gotten these types of calls before, always for someone else --- it can go on for months.  I don't answer, because you can't reason with a recording.

I too, received a call from this number 800-704-3420. It said important business please call back to 877-384-0290. I called back. The said they were CCA I asked what it stood for & what the business did, they refused to tell me anymore than that. mrs. Scott & Lyndsey were who I talked to they tried to confirm my personal information I refused. Who are these people? They wouldn't release that information it was hard trying to get there names even. They were exceedingly rude. I have contacted my phone company who addvised to push *57 then call the police. Which I have done. If they are a collection agency they were verbally abusive & violating FTC laws. Beware. Phone companies do have a service to block these calls. I would recommend to everyone to block the number 877-384-0290 & there alternative number of 800-704-3420. Notes on other numbers they use indicate that they use mutliple numbers!!!!!! Beware. I started receiving several unknown numbers after the initial 800 number call!!!!!

Phone call received at place of business and I'm not even the person they claim they're trying to reach!
