- I got it, too replies to Carogniaa man from the same # called asking for donation for police officers to take children to Wonderland on July 2, 2008.
It was just odd how he was calling. He gave me address 253 College Street(Bay and Bloor area) but why Bay and Bloor? when it's College and Bay area.
He just didn't make things clear and had heavy Southern accent.. doesn't it make sense?? - Mario| 1 replyCaller asked for Maria, said it was Richard from... and then hung up
- vincent replies to MarioHi

Some body has to take action.
The number is 1 800-713-5190. - ShironiThis call is not from Toronto Police Dept. It's a company call Xentel On Sheppard and Allen road. They collect for themselves and couldn't care less about kids in need. It's FRAUD and there very annoying.
- captainSomeone called from this number, got my answering machine, and left an
abusive message. - raissiMany Many times I asked them please don't call but usually after a while again they call and they say they are doing charity for Toronto Police!!

- pamelaThey have been calling my home for a few days now.
When I pick up and say hello, I hear a bit of static (like the sound when someone is on the other line) and then it's quiet. (I never say hello twice, as that usually prompts a real person to answer)
Nothing shows up on the call display except for the phone #. - kiki replies to Mariathis 800-713-5190 number called me today I egnored the call then called it back with my private cell. - The EvolutionaryThose bothered by this number should call the Toronto Police Association immediately and log a compliant. Edward Costa is currently the Director of Civilian Field Services so call and leave a message to his assistant (or directly line if you can get transfer to it). The switchboard is 416-491-4301. Try to get a name or operating number from anyone who calls you, especially if they say anything inappropriate. (One person told me when they refused to give info about their place of work they implied that was because it was a bad business). Really inappropriate. Personally I think anyone with law enforcement should not be collecting money; conflict of interest and all. Only way it stops is if we call directly to the people in chrage and say "stop".
- Caller: Toronto Police Association Rep.
- Call type: Non-profit organization
- JimSuppossed from police, but does not show caller on phone, suspect a fraud call!
- Caller: Unknown caller
- ElenaA woman called herself Ms. Richardson called the business from this number, asked to speak to the owner. When got advised the owner is unavailable and offered to leave a message got very rude and hung up.
- SteveI continually receive calls from this number asking for support. Reading through these posts, I saw this number listed on the 'NOW' website. 'NOW' says that this is the Metropolitan Toronto Police Association Charities located at 180 Yorkland Blvd. in Toronto.
After Googling "toronto police yorkland station" I found that it was in fact 'Metropolitan Toronto Police Pensioners Association'. I tried calling their number (416) 495-7091 to try to get to the root of the problem but only got a pitiful excuse of a voice message.
I hope someone else has better luck and will check back to see if anyone does? I'm sure I haven't heard the last of these people...- Caller: Toronto Police Association
