Threatened legal action in recording if I did not return the call. Was a computer generated voice.

Called twice today threatening legal action against my social security number. They said they were located in Texas. After asking several questions they hung up on me.

Similar experience. They told me I have a legal case pending against my social security number and they have been contacted by the police department.  Asked me to verify my name and social security number to pull up that information. When I said I wouldn't give that out they hung up after saying that's your choice.

Left a voicemail saying social security number is suspected for fraudulent activities and there are legal actions filed against me.. called back and a guy answered saying his name and that he was from US department of social security

Same here ! Getting call for Tax violation

Caller left voicemail with warning about calling back ASAP or they would commence legal proceedings immediately. .

Same thing but when I called them back to tell them they were scammers, etc. they mocked me.  Do not give them any information.

“SCAM” Calling me daily leaving automated message for me to call back before legal proceedings start. Don't answer phone or respond to questions if you do. SS Adm. only uses mail to cantact you.
